I grew up a Bengals fan and still am a Bengals fan to the end. It pains me to admit it. This season started with so much hope and promise and look where we are now ... 1-10-1 !!! How ridiculous is that??
I search for answers week after week ... and I keep coming back to the conclusion that as long as Mike Brown runs the organization we will continue to suck. We all know that he's not going anywhere so get used to the fact that we are stuck with him. So let's look elsewhere for a solution. How about the coach? Marvin Lewis needs to back his bags and move on. Coming here as a touted Defensive Coordinator you would think that our defense would have stepped up a notch or two. Guess not. I see so little emotion from him that it's disturbing. I would be yelling and screaming at my players as they come off the field after failing to convert a third-down or giving up a long pass. But no ... all we get is a stone-face and a shrug of the shoulders. He needs to be a more aggressive coach and take charge of his players.
How about the players? We need players that want to be here. A healthy Palmer and TJ as our number one receiver is key. Good bye Chad! We need a solid back field .... we have a revolving door in the RB position and there is no consistency to even pose a running threat. And let's get a decent back-up QB!!! Fitzpatrick?!!! Give me a break. Jon Kitna would've been a better choice. Anyone for that matter.
