im lookin to get a crossbow and i was lookin for a good crossbow that is kinda inexpensive?? can anyone give me idea or links to a good bow??

Also never be afraid of buying a used one. Just have a pro shop look at it before you hand over the cash if you can that is. Most crossbows are only fired maybe half as much as a compound so the use isn't usually that much on average. Good luck.
I just picked up a Horton Summit 150 for 239$ You can get em for $299 with a scope, I just didnt like the scope that came with it so Im going to look around and find one I like.I got it put together rather quickly and like Ive seen elsewhere, its made here in Ohio :)

I got it at Buckeye Outdoors in Hebron (www.buckeyeoutdoors.net (http://www.buckeyeoutdoors.net)) They are sister company's with Vances and I think you can order them online from em.

I just recently got a Horton Tacoma Trac 150. I paid less than $200 for it and couldn't be more pleased with it. That would be the way I would recommend. Also sportsmansguide.com has a 175lb. crossbow for $150 or so made by Jaguar.

I baught a horton at buckeye outdoors two years ago for 220$ complete with scope and quiver and bolts. I did not like the scope so I replaced it with a tru glow .

i have seen some complete packages for roun 350 at vances an buckeye when they have sales...:biggrin:
i picked up a Horton Summit HD 150 combo today at Vance's for $269 (plus tax).
They have a few left. Comes with the Trail Stalker scope, quiver, and three arrows (one with a Lumenok).
