BuckSlayer........I've been wondering the same thing. With this rain, if it don't all soak in the ground, it should raise the water a little. My wife and I haven't been down to fish the tail-waters for several weekends now, but it has been on my mind.

I went down on sunday, water levels were about 30, which means about 10 feet over the platform. I prefer the water levels about this high, that why I went. However, the water was muddy, hot chocolate muddy, so no hits. With all this rain and snow it will be a while before its fishable.

How about a bump on this topic, anybody been sauger fishing this spring? It should be about prime time to hit them in bunches below the dams!

I caught 40 at RC byrd this past week in a period of 3 days, most I caught was 26 in one evening. They are pretty tough to catch right now. Im off to FL this week so hopefully when i get back it will be better.
