Just curious? Is everyone still seeing the rut or is it coming to a end. I'm thinking about going out this weekend to fill my doe tag. Any suggestions, I haven't been out in about a week.

I have trail cams set up at both the stands I use and have not seen anything this week! I think they are still in a lock down mode. South Delware Co.

the past two weekends I have seen a lot of deer, but hunting durring this week has been the most productive week I have seen yet this year. I believe the rut is in full swing right now and with the weather this weekend I think it will be an awesome time to be seeing deer. That is my personal opinion though. I hunt west central Ohio and that is what my friends and I all are seeing.

I took a doe out of a group of six yesterday in Putnam County...suprised there were'nt any bucks chasing them around.

Had a doe come shooting past my stand with a thick antlered 10 hot on her heals. About 20 minutes later they came past my stand again. He chased her out acorss the field until I lost sight. That was at 11:35. At 1:00 saw a solid 8 pointer working the bottom of the creek bed, nose to the ground.

Talked to a friend today who say 5 bucks running 1 doe all over his woods this morning. One was a 140" 8 Point and the rest were smaller bucks. My guess is that those that aren't in lockdown are beginning to branch out a little further in search of does.....one of the best times to be out in my opinion.
