I'm not a huge fan of professional sports, but I have followed basketball for awhile now. I think what attracts me is the instinct it takes to put the ball in that small hoop. It reminds me of shooting a bow instinctive.
Anyways, I'm happy to see a Cleveland team playing solid as a team. The Cavs have made some good changes in thier lineup, and it is showing. We are playing some solid basketball, especially in the late quarters when it's needed. I know some of you will say we need to do it early, then we don't need to rely on the late minute heroics. But I think this will start to all come together, and be a standard from start to finish.
I say "Boston Beware":)

I love seeing these guys play like every game is thier last. They are playing at a level we have only seen from the playoffs, or from other teams.
We come out hard at the start, and play to the last minute in the same fashion.
Our defense is Outstanding! We contest every shot, usually by more than one player. We have been shutting down some good shooters. I know we have not faced the cream yet, but we have beat some real good teams.
We have the players, and the right attitude to bring a championship to Cleveland!
Deehntr56
12-08-2008, 09:14 PM
Agree.
The last game we lost was to Detroit after we let a 18 point lead fall to the wayside.
They are playing well together, and that is a key ingredient in success.
Lebron has ben getting quite a bit of rest, whick will help down the stretch.
The non starters are getting playing time, since many games have been blow outs, and that will help the team after April of next year.
Z has been having a good year, and West, Willaims and Gibson have been playing well. Let's not forget Varejao.
Potentially a 57-60 win season....and it may better the franchise record of 57 wins, from the Mark Price/Brad Daugherty years!!!

What did ya think of tonights game?
Personally, I think they got sidetracked a bit tonight with Z, and Lebron both breaking records.
Great start, really turned it on in the third quarter.
All in all, I think they played pretty damn good!
Deehntr56
12-10-2008, 06:07 PM
Sure was a close game until the 3rd and they win vy 20.
Not only were the records for Z and LeBron set last night...this team set another record as well.
They are the only team in NBA history to beat the last nine teams by 12 points or more with a 9 game winning streak.....they can keep adding to it as well, if they continue to do so!!!
Their current winning streak is also a club record.

Tonight we didn't play solid. We lost to a good team that we could have beat. In fact we looked really sloppy. I hope this game doesn't ruin the momentum we have, especially these road games.
Go Cavs!

4 games in 5 nights again, it just didnt pan out this time because the injuries. Winning 3 of 4 we cant complain too much with that kind of scheduling. I think we'll be just fine. We need Z to get back, and delonte to start hitting his shots.

We can't complain at all with "Z" out for that game. Atlanta is a tough team this year. They showed that by beating the Cavs and playing the Celtics tight.
I read rumors of a trade involving Zerbiak and Varejo? for Shawn Marion. Trading deadline isn't until February though so who knows. They have good chemistry now and "V" is playing very good ball off the bench and now starting.
badger
12-19-2008, 08:21 PM
Shawn Marion would be a great addition, but I don't see Andy going anywhere in the near future. Andy and Lebron combine for alot of points when they are both on the court, they play well together. Wally has added alot to the team as well. Both guys play tough on both ends of the court.
Just my two cents, GO CAVS!

Some "new" news......
Updated: December 20, 2008, 10:14 PM EST
CLEVELAND (AP) - LeBron James said he'll consider signing an extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers this summer, well before he enters the free-agent market in 2010.
"You play out the season of course; I will consider it," James told The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer before the team practiced in Denver on Saturday. "The direction we are headed is everything I expected and more."
James, under contract for two more seasons, can hit the free-agent market on July 1, 2010. There has long been speculation James will eventually end up in one of the NBA's larger markets - particularly with the New York Knicks.
The Cavaliers (22-4) have the second-best record in the NBA.
"I definitely want to keep an open mind, I will look at everything," James said. "(The extension) is a good point. I think me and my group have pretty much made good decisions so far and we'll look at the options and go from there."
James signed a three-year, $43 million deal with the Cavaliers in 2006. The deal includes a player option for 2010-11 worth $17.4 million.

It's suprising how much better Andy V or as my wife calls him "hair man" is shooting the ball. If he can continue to sustain some offense on top of his "D" he should continue to make a real differnce.
My daughter is wanting to go to a game this year. I may try one of the Mcdonalds game night packages. They're fairly affordable.

I agree on "V', but with Williams and West platying well and Booby also contributng I think "V"'s skills are being utilized as needed with the team.....but he could be pretty darn good if he aveages 15 or so points a game to go along with his D and rebounding!
I was able to get section 108 tickets 2 rows back...they were real nice seats..my daughter was back in town for the holidays from grad school so I got my son and we all went to the game. Great win and great comeback win too!!:D

That was a nice Holliday night out!
I can't wait to see this team in the later part of the season. Every guy on the team seem's to get a little better each game, and everyone plays as a whole.
They looked sluggish early on in the last game, but that could have been too much Holliday food! lol
Deehntr56
12-28-2008, 11:41 AM
Yes it was there Badger!
They definitley were sluggish early on (Egg Nog was spiked was my guess) but they mustered enough determination and came back and won.
I really like the team work and the way they play together...that will take them a long way. Talent helps as well!!! Mo Williams was a great pick up.....really helped this team.
And "V" is actually averaging 10.3 points a game offensively now...he has picked up his game as well.
Fun to watch, and hopefully we will be watching them in the finals!!:)

I was at my buddies house when Jordan took that shot. That has to stick in your mind for ever. That was one of those sport history things! It will probably never be topped!
By the way, we won again tonight! Some real nice defense in the second half.
JJ Hickson is playing pretty good ball off the bench! Can't say I agreed with starting Lorenzo, but I guess you have to put some trust in your investments when you are a pro ball team.
We have some tuff games ahead. I hope to see our defense stay active, and hope we don't rely on the long ball in the next few games.
Three pointers are sweet, but we can get inside, and beat them in the paint.

Good 2nd half.
Hickson did look good last night as well. With Z out for a few more weeks, the Bench players are stepping up and contributing. They have been all year as well.

Well we lost him but now they are saying Z will start practicing again next week. That and having Wallace back on the court is some good news.
Back to Delonte, I am glad we have him and Moe now, but does anybody remember how well Sasha was playing last year as a starter? This season I have been waiting to see him get more minutes. He had a great game last night on both ends of the court. Same goes for Wally, he played very well.

Lakers had a very good second half yesterday to hand the cavs their 1st home loss of the season.
Odom took contol of the paint for the Lakers, and Kobe wasn't a factor. Neith was LeBron.
Z had a pretty good game.
Our perimeter shooting in the second half, was no where near what we did in the 1st half. Credit has to go to the lakers for adjusting at half time and playing a more focused determined 2nd half.

I love to watch the Cavs play, and almost always watch their games if televised. As I was watching the game on ABC yesterday, I realized how damn annoying the sound system at Cleveland is. Every bleeping time down the floor, all you can hear is "D-FENCE..., D-FENCE..., D-FENCE!!!" GIVE ME A F***ING BREAK! It became so annoying that every time the Lakers had the ball I had to hit the mute button on the remote control. What is the deal with that anyway? I can see a need for it once in a while, but the whole damn game, give me a break. Sorry for the rant, but am I the only one who notices this?

UPDATE.......Cavaliers guard Delonte West is expected to start tonight against the Houston Rockets. How long he'll play and whether he'll be able to take part in every game on this road trip is yet to be determined.
West saw a hand specialist after arriving in Houston on Wednesday and tests confirmed his fractured right wrist, injured on Jan. 15, was not 100 percent healed. West had returned to the lineup and scored 25 points on Sunday against Detroit, but experienced soreness and swelling in the wrist after the game. He was then held out of Tuesday's home victory over Memphis.
West said doctors have told him the risk of re-injury is not high and his ability to play will be determined on his pain tolerance and flexibiility. That's why he's decided to return tonight, but he admits his minutes might be limited and he's unsure wherether he'll be able to recover in time to play at San Antonio on Friday.

You think they're looking a little tired?
Deehntr56
03-17-2009, 09:09 PM
It looks like the season and the drive their on to get home court advantage is taking it's toll.
I know that it's importatnt for them to have a shot at the title to get home court in the playoffs.
My thinking is that they know they are suspect inside, (They did try to get a big man before trade deadline was up) and will need the advantage against the premier teams with having home court to balance that out and have a shot at winning.
Yes, they look somewhat tired.
LeBron though has had a lot of minutes off early in the season, and that will pay off in the end.
Delonte has had time off with Injuries.
Z has had time off, and Mo really has played more minutes then most of the starters.
I think if they can secure home court, they will "feel" like they an advanatge and feed off that along with feeling comfortable to make a hard run at the end.
They get Home court, they have a legidimate chance at winning it, as long as they stay healthy, play solid defense and hold their own inside.
Let's hope the "Cleveland Curse" doesn't hit them as well.

I love watching Andy play. Sometimes it appears there's two Andys:bouncy: on the court at once!
Speaking of Andy...he's averaging over 10 points a game since Wallace has been out and starting in his place.
The Cavs are 17-2 with Andy starting, and in March, Andy has started 14 games averaging 10.3 pts a game, 8.4 rebounds and shooting 57 percent from the field.
Cavs are 27-6 when he starts. and 32-7 when he comes off the bench...and what is most interesting him and LeBron are connecting more now than never in various plays.
We are seeing him at his best ever in his career....and that's a good thing.
Some more stats....
Cavs record with players out during Injury....
Wallace: 17-2
west....14-4
"Z"...11-5
Wally.....9-0
Sasha....12-2

Yes V is playing very well, always like watching him play because of his energy and the way he runs the court. Can't say enough how much I think Mo has brought to the Cavs this season. Good chemistry with solid backcourt play/good shooting. Hope his pinky finger doesn't keep him out or effect is shooting/ball handling.
58 wins a franchise record! Cavs are now 14-1 in March, their best month in franchise history. And one more win will put them at the exalted 60-win plateau, a line usually reserved for greatness. Not bad for a team that won 45 regular-season games a year ago.
"To win 60 games is hard," Cavs coach Mike Brown said. "Not many teams can say they've done it.

If Mo or Delonte would have been making buckets, it would have been another blow out. Its nice to have that depth on our bench. Gotta Love It. Boston for sure. Not just for the fact we have a score to settle, but It's Boston as well!!
Chicago has really impressed me with Noah and the young talent thay have. They have some confidence now going 2-2 with Boston, and every game they have played has been close. If I remember right, 2 of those games went into overtime. The last one was a great game...we watched most of it and it was a classic.
The other side of the coin, is if Chicago wins, they also may be pretty tired by the time they get to us, and may run out of steam. They have been playing hard for 4 games, and if it goes to 7, both teams will be taxed out at the end of this series. Their next series will take some more out of the winner.
Either way, we have Maimi or Atlanta next before we get to go any farther, and that is the 1st order of business!

Tonight is the start of round #2...I'll say Cavs in 5!!!:D
How do the Cavaliers and Atlanta Hawks compare as they prepare for tonight's opening game of the Eastern Conference semifinals?
Veteran Atlanta point guard Mike Bibby brings a willingness to take the big shot at any time and will be a challenge for the Cavaliers' Mo Williams.Point guards
Mike Bibby
Playoffs: 14.9 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 4.4 apg
vs. Cavs: 14.3 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.8 apg
Actually somewhat of a combo guard, who can play point or off ball. He passes well and overall is very strong with the ball. He's got a good cross-over dribble and will drive. Very effective in setting picks and does so often. Will shoot off screens and makes tough shots because he's confident and gets shot off fast. Will take quick shot in transition. Can be good on ball defender but has average foot speed. Will reach for steals and in general uses his hands a lot.
Mo Williams
Playoffs: 14.8 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 5.5 apg
vs. Hawks: 23.3 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 3.8 apg
Talented offensive player who can make a variety of shots. Strong shooter from mid-range and finds lots of ways to get off shot. Improved shooter from distance. Very effective in transition and likes to pull up. Dangerous on broken plays because he has good court vision. Good pick-and-roll player. Suspect defender, especially in on the ball and isolated situations.
Advantage: Cavs
Shooting guards
Joe Johnson
Playoffs: 17.1 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 3.1 apg
vs. Cavs: 16.5 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 5.3 apg
Athletic scoring swingman who has the ball in his hands most of the time. Can create his own offense breaking his man down off the dribble with a variety of change of pace moves and has the ability to drive with both hands. Also an excellent 3-point shooter. Starts many of their offensive plays. He passes well when double teamed.
Delonte West
Playoffs: 11.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 4.0 apg
vs. Hawks: 12.3 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 3.8 apg
Tough-nosed player and a fearless defender who will play rough. Uses hands on the outside to slow drivers. On offense uses left hand most of the time and usually only drives left. Can score inside and out and is good at creating space on drives. Decent spot-up shooter if left open but has not shot well in second half of the season.
Advantage: Hawks
Small forwards
Maurice Evans
Playoffs: 5.9 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 0.9 apg
vs. Cavs: 9.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 0.0 apg
Getting starts and extra minutes due to Marvin Williams' wrist injury. Athletic and strong wing who has a nice shooting stroke. Because he rebounds well, can play some small forward. Likes the corner baseline shot. Plays very hard and defends well, one of the team's best defenders. Will take the ball hard to the rim. Can score in bunches but known as a defender. Generally always drives right.
LeBron James
Playoffs: 32.0 ppg, 11.3 rpg, 7.5 apg
vs. Hawks: 26.3 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 8.3 apg
Top three player in the NBA. Physically dominant at both ends. Pick-your-poison player, has improved his mid-range jumper so will take advantage if you give him space on screens. Cannot let him get into paint or turn the corner on the drives. Must force him to stay outside to limit his effectiveness. Almost must know where he is on defense, especially when he's off the ball. Will jump passing lanes and block shots from weak side. Better dealing with him straight up instead of on help defense.
Advantage: Cavs
Power forwards
Josh Smith
Playoffs: 16.3 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 2.3 apg
vs. Cavs: 9.7 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 2.3 apg
Great floor runner who jumps out of the gym and loves to get out on the break. Has a quick step to the basket but left-hand dominant, always wants to go left. Often plays from the weak side cutting or spotting up for deep jumpers. Doesn't have much of an in-between game. Excellent offensive rebounder and looks for the follow-up dunk. Outstanding help side defender, with long arms, and one of the top forward shot blockers. If his feet are set, he is a shooter but otherwise not but he tends to fall into jump shooting in halfcourt. Emotional player, which works for and against him.
Anderson Varejao
Playoffs: 5.3 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 0.3 apg
vs. Hawks: 8.0 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 1.0 apg
Active player who is always on the move and the Cavs use this effectively. Excellent rebounder. He is quick enough to switch on pick-and-rolls and take on guards for short spurts. On ball will attempt to take charges; in help will try to block shots. Effective rolling off screens and catch and shoot around the basket. Weak jump shooter and free-throw shooter.
Advantage: Hawks
Centers
Al Horford
Playoffs: 8.7 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 2.0 apg
vs. Cavs: 11.0, 9.5 rpg, 0.5 apg
Powerful post player, plays bigger than his size. Quick leaper with good footwork on post moves to create space. Good right-hand hook shooter. Can face up and hit jump shot to about 15 feet. He is very strong and can hold his spot against bigger posts. Runs the floor well for his size and is a good weakside shot blocker. Getting much better with experience.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Playoffs: 11.3 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 2.0 apg
vs. Hawks: 16.7 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 0.3 apg
One of tallest players in league who is also a good outside shooter even to 3-point range. Is good on the block, but only scores from left block with step through move or hook. Is being used more as a passer this season from the high post. Strong rebounder and changes shots but slow feet who struggles on pick-and-roll defense.
Advantage: Cavs
Bench
Hawks: G Flip Murray, G Mario West, F Marvin Williams, F/C Zaza Pachulia, F Soloman Jones
Murray can be a prolific scorer and does it fast but very streaky. Especially good at going to the basket but can be selfish. West is a good defensive player but limited offensively. Williams was the starter at small forward, but has been limited to five minutes in the last five games because of a wrist injury. Pachulia is a bruiser and an enforcer who rebounds well. Foul prone and limited offensively but can make an impact. Jones is big man who is an average shot blocker but works on the floor.
Daniel Gibson's performance against the Pistons, as in his regular season, was inconsistent. A re-emergence of his three-point accuracy would be helpful as the playoffs evolve.Cavs: G Daniel Gibson, G/F Wally Szczerbiak, F Joe Smith, F Ben Wallace, F Darnell Jackson.
Gibson is a streaky outside shooter who is much better spotting up than creating or catching and shooting. Limited elsewhere, especially when moving on defense. Szczerbiak uses size well on the interior but is not quick enough to chase moving shooters. Streaky outside shooter but can score on smaller players on block. Smith is a solid rebounder and defender who can hit mid-range jumper effectively. Wallace has very limited offensive ability but makes an impact on defense, more bringing help than on the ball. Jackson is a scrapper who is undersized but battles and brings energy. Not gifted offensively.
Advantage: If Evans starts then Cavs; otherwise even.
OVERALL BREAKDOWN
Hawks:
Strengths: One of the best transition teams in the NBA. They gamble a lot on defense and it often leads to steals and easy baskets. Bibby and Johnson create an explosive offensive combination because they can both create, shoot and play pick-and-roll with each other. They have like-sized or interchangeable players so they can "switch" on pick-and-rolls and it may limit some of the Cavs' offensive strengths, which take advantage of how teams defend screens. They are an above-average shot-blocking team loaded with athletes. They tend to play very well at home. Coach Mike Woodson will often script plays in timeouts for as much as three possessions, which can make them tough to defend in the playoffs when teams are used to knowing what is coming.
Weaknesses: When they are forced into a slow-down, halfcourt game their players can fall into playing lots of 1-on-1 basketball. At times they don't share the ball well. Sometimes they'll just play random basketball with no order and often it works against them. They are an emotional team and when they get down, often they don't come back. Their playoff games over the last two seasons have been defined by letting the game be decided early. When they jump out early they play great, when they get behind they tend to stay there. They are so antsy to get out on the break that sometimes they'll leak out and they can give up offensive rebounds. It is part of an overall trend that the Hawks are overaggressive and the longer you execute the better chance they will break down. They will make many highlight plays but get beat on nuts and bolts.
What the Cavs must do to win:
1. Contain the Bibby/Johnson attack: In their one loss to the Hawks this season, the Cavs had trouble figuring out how to defend these players in the pick-and-roll. In general, Delonte West will probably guard Johnson for much of the game and then LeBron James will take over late. But Mo Williams must handle Bibby to a certain extent. If he can't and West has to take him with James on Johnson for long stretches, it will cause matchup problems elsewhere.
2. Execute the offense: The Cavs had some periods where they got stagnant against the Pistons. Because of the way the Hawks play, switching on many pick-and-rolls, the Cavs must give what Mike Brown likes to call "multiple efforts." They have to execute multiple pick-and-rolls and multiple drive-and-kicks and swing the ball from one side of the court to the other. If the Cavs work on offense, they'll score with ease. If not, they are playing into the Hawks' strengths.
3. Be aware of the second unit: Flip Murray is an upgraded version of Will Bynum, the Pistons' undersized sub who led charges against the Cavs' second unit. He can score fast and the Hawks love to tear off huge runs with back-and-forth play. The Cavs will need to control the speed of the game in general, but especially when Murray and the Hawks' second unit is on the floor with James resting.

Game 3 Saturday night in Atlanta........There is no way I'm putting "THE CROWN" and the TITLE on this cavs team yet.....they haven't been challenged, but they will be!
With its latest annihilation of Atlanta, Cleveland is now 6-0 in the playoffs. However, Cavs fans are advised not to get overly excited because:
The Pistons were the worst team to play in the first round.
Especially without Al Horford and Marvin Williams, the Hawks are the worst team to reach the second round.
For sure, the Cavs did just about everything right in Game 2.
Their energy was ferocious from the start, and their nonstop hustle was exemplified by Zydrunas Ilgauskas' hitting the floor to successfully rescue a loose ball when the Cavs were up by 28 points.
LeBron James hit half of his six jumpers, including a 40-foot trey.
All of the Cavs were admirably unselfish on every play. Not one shot was forced or taken too quickly.
Delonte West and Mo Williams did whatever they wanted to against Mike Bibby's inept defensive efforts.
The Cavs' defense was so effective it seemed as though they'd studied and memorized Atlanta's playbook.
Cleveland's interior defensive rotations were flawless. So much so that — except for a put-back — the Hawks' half-court sets couldn't generate anything resembling a layup during the first quarter.
Early on, the Cavs controlled their offensive glass and gained numerous extra shots.
They ran amok and did an excellent job of finishing on the break.
Anderson Varejao buried Josh Smith in the low post, and even knocked down a 17-foot jumper.
Their strategy of doubling Joe Johnson's every touch worked to perfection.
And with Johnson probably out for Game 3, the Cavs should be even more devastating in Atlanta.
Of course, a team can defeat only the teams they play. Still, the Cavs have yet to tested — and may not be until the Finals.
Meanwhile, the Hawks did just about everything wrong in Game 2:
Johnson couldn't find the basket with a road map, shot an air-ball, and suffered a severely sprained right ankle.
Smith hit only one of his five attempted jumpers, also shot an air-ball, and was assessed his requisite technical foul.
All told, the Hawks missed nine layups.
Their interior rotations were nonexistent, and the rest of their defense wasn't any better.
From the get-go, the Hawks played as though they knew for sure that they would lose.
For most of the game, they trailed by 25-30 points, and were saved from being totally embarrassed only because their subs played harder than Cleveland's subs in the extended garbage time. A poor consolation.
As the game unfolded, there were only two questions that had to be answered:
How many points would LBJ score?
Twenty-seven in only 31 minutes.
When would the Hawks certify their defeat by going belly-up?
Early in the second quarter.
It seems impossible for the Hawks to avoid being swept, especially after Game 4 on Monday, the last words will undoubtedly belong to Porky Pig: "Tha-tha-that's all, folks!":biggrin::D

Deehntr56
05-18-2009, 01:06 PM
Orlando is up next...and this one may not be an easy one....in fact they have a shot at beating the cavs.....
The four best teams in the NBA are the last four left in the playoffs. This is how it is supposed to work.....in a perfect world!
The two biggest stars in the NBA are staring at a championship showdown. This is how the NBA and the people want it to work.
We are eight wins away from a battle between LeBron and Kobe — most exciting mano-a-mano matchup in the history of hyperbole.
But let's not pencil the cavs and lakers in to the Finals just yet.
For the first time in these playoffs, the Cavs and L.A. face teams that could actually beat them.
This is different. The Denver Nuggets have outplayed the Lakers through two rounds. They are the first team that can make the Lakers pay for their every-other-game indifference.
I am less sold on Orlando's chance of upsetting Cleveland:biggrin:
In order to win this series, the Magic will have to win at least two close games and win at least once, probably twice, in Cleveland. I don't see either happening.
And I know Orlando finally showed some toughness in Game 7 against Boston, but come on....... If Kevin Garnett is healthy, we're looking at Celtics-Cavs right now.
Still, the Magic have a deeper and arguably more talented roster than Cleveland, and this should be a test for the Cavs.
Lakers-Nuggets is a far more interesting series.
The question: do the Nuggets have enough to get past the Lakers?
Watching the Lakers in Games 4 and 6 against Houston, I thought the answer was yes.
But let's face it.....the Lakers are the most talented team in the West and have home court. And for anybody who thinks the Lakers are sleepwalking their way out of the playoffs, let's remember what happened a year ago.
The Celtics needed seven games to dispatch the lowly Hawks, another seven to beat an undermanned Cavs team, then six to beat the Pistons.
Meanwhile, the Lakers swept Denver, beat Utah in six, and beat the defending champion Spurs in five games in the conference Finals.
There was no doubt that the Lakers were playing better than Boston, up to that point.
Yet the Celtics beat the Lakers in three of the first four Finals games and won the title....oh...how things can change in a series!
Cleveland is the heavy favorite right now, for obvious reasons. The Cavaliers have swept two straight playoff series and won 24 of their last 27 games...... They are now 74-16 for the season. (For comparison's sake, that is the exact same record that the 1985-86 Celtics had after 90 games — and those Celtics might have been the best team ever.) But better teams than this have failed to win the championship.
A LeBron-Kobe showdown is on the horizon, but two very good teams lie in wait. The hype says the NBA's dominant players will meet in the finals.
The underdog teams may say otherwise.:biggrin:
Wednesday Night....will begin the next chapter of this book.......

I'll say the cavs in 5. Tonights going to be fun to watch. I think we might have a hard time in the first half of the game getting back up to speed because of all the offtime. Hopefully the cavs can weather the storm until they can find their rhythm again. After that happens I think we'll win comfortably at the Q.

Orlando is a good team.
They match up well with the Cavs and they play well on the road.
But adversity is a good thing. This is their 1st challenge of the playoffs and to be a champion, you need to play through adversity.

Yes sir.....this will be a tough series, and that was a GREAT win last night.
I really thought it was over...going down 0-2, would have been hard to come back and win with. Orlando has confused the cavs on defensing the 3's, and the cavs have failed to recover so far with a counter when that happens.
That shot from 33 feet with half a second left....WOW:yikes:
For LeBron...it proves his worth as a MVP and leader of this team. Each year he progressed to the point where in the past, he would of had someone else take that shot(due to his unselfish play), but today...he has matured as a leader and "go to" franchise player.
This may go to 7 and Orlando can win it......If the Cavs survive, it will make them stronger and better.
Game 3 in Orlando, Sunday night!
Maybe it's part of the whole story, and this chapter is only a "snap shot" of how it may end.
Stay tuned.................

Yes, we can easily say that, considering the “Cleveland Curse” has been around a Loooonnnggggg time.
The Cavs need to defend the 3 pointer.....they haven't figured that out yet. They have one game to establish that, or it's vacation time.
But….let’s think back to Seattle down 0-2 against the Indians and then Seattle winning the next 3 to win the 5 game series.
Ok, it was Seattle, and it’s a long shot at this point for the Cavs to pull it out….but it can happen….Very long shot…..but one game at a time, and who knows.
Now that would be a great ending to this series……..So Keep the faith…..If the Cavs pull it out and win this series….they will win it all.
Can they do it?
