Im thinkin this is a 2 year old buck, He is only a 6 point and the pics are extremely hard to tell from. I would love to see him next year, Which i am guessing he should be a P&Y next season.

First year buck. His first real rut, if he's lucky enough.

I would have to say by looking at body characteristics he's a 1 and a half. If he really is than he has some great potential!

I would have to go with the others and guess 1.5. It looks like a nice rack for that age!!!!!! Good potential.

Comparing to the wild pet button bucks that I have been feeding, this one is 1.5 years and should be very nice if it survives for next year.

I have been doing this every day for three years. I have 3 generations in this pic. This year there were 7 fawns, 6 are button bucks. That is a good return into the buck pool. This is how I learned a bit on how to age a buck. I do not have all of the answers, but I do have a good tool to work with. I do not hunt these. These are my buck magnets. I had a good 2 hour show last nite of a broken antlered ex 4 point chasing the 7 deer that came in to the feed station. Eventually mister big will show up.

1.5 years old.
I have a 1.5 year old 14" wide 9 Point here, that I have been watching in my yard since he was a fawn...he will be a nice Buck.
He's been gone for 10 days now...i wonder what he is up to?
Fortunately for him, unless someone poaches him...he will live a long life here.
