I have the monarch xl. Very nice stand. Light and easy to hang. Cant beat the seat either! I got mine for like 90 buck off ebay.

The stand is very light and somewhat easy to hang. The seat is very padded but this also prevents enough fold-up for me as I like to stay close to the tree to prevent outlining (silhouetting). At first there was problems with loud squeaking. After disconnect and re-hanging this has resolved the problem so far. Colder weather may cause more stand noise. I would suggest placing a thick cloth between the stand and the tree. With ratchet strapping, the stand does feel VERY secure. One more complaint is the spacing between the floor slats. More than once I turned in the stand only to have my boot "pluck" the slat edge to produce a TONG sound thru the woods. My hunting buddy has size 7 mens shoes and claimed his boot got wedged in the stand. Well, that is my short 4 use experience of this stand.

I have one as well. I think they are very nice stands. Very comfortable to hunt out of. The thick padded seat and the foot rest make fatigue very minimal. I bought mine from Ebay two seasons ago for around $75..new. The only thing is (for me anyway) is when you cover the seat with the built in seat cover.....the little critters of the woods like to crawl in there and make themselves at home....chewing the crap out of the seat and straps!!!!
