Finally in Greene Co the rut has begun. Tonight had 6 pt stroll by at 4:00 and at 5:20 had two does cross the creek at 50 yds and followed by a shooter 10 pt with great mass. He did not respond to calls, just kept following the does. Now it is time to live in the woods, even though it is 70 degrees.

Good info. I took the rest of the week off work & I will be hunting my Greene County farms HARD starting first thing in the morning. Had only seen a couple young bucks harrassing does so far.

Trail cams are taking lots of Buck pics at night and early morning.....seen increased activity the last 3-4 days. the warm weather has minimized day activity somewhat...but that is going to change.

Cold front moving in late week.......be in the woods.....the 7th is coming quickly.....it should get cranking on that day forward.....

I am hunting Friday through Tuesday if it looks to be worth it. Then next Friday through Sunday. I am so pumped to get after it. I really have high hopes for seeing some great action over those 8 days...
