Well fellas, This morning on my way to work. Going West on 30 towrds Massillon, I saw alot of chasing going on. I always look into the fields and I just kept glassing as I drove and I saw three different bucks chasing does. It was really cool. Made me want to turn around and go back home and suit up!!

Hopefully this weekend will be OK and they wont all be holed up with a hot doe already.

I don't think you have anything to worry about for this weekend. I have only seen the young ones out running around, does and bucks. The other night watching a couple spikes and basket 8's chasing some young does reminded me of driving Tusc on a friday night and seeing all the teenagers hangin out.

Yea I couldnt see how big they where just saw some bone.

Man, I would love to find somewhere closer to home to hunt. I am getting sick of driving to new philly and not seeing jack crap out there.

Man, thats odd for Tuscarawas county to not see anything, I mean I know it happens. Actually, we are kinda going throught that too. One spot we hunt in Stone Creek is loaded with scrapes and rubs but no deer being seen while in the stand, gets a little frustrating. Be persistant though!!

I hunt right off of route 39 in new philly and the guy next to me has two huge as corn piles on some clover.

I have seen some deer but nothing to talk about. I was out on the 31st and got a look at a small six. last years spike. I had two doe bed own around me too. That six went right to those doe. When he came in they were meandering around on the top of this ridge where I like to hunt.

I guess its just dissapointing to not see anything bigger. I mean I at least want to see something. I have ashed from a nice 8 pointer from last year. He would be a huge 12 this year I think. but I have not seen him. I heard hottin and hollerin on sunday so I think he may be gone.
