Well the time is here! Brady Quinn will get the start this Thursday Night against the Denver Broncos! I can't wait to see what the kid can do! I do feel a little bad for Anderson. He had a great year last year and even made the Pro Bowl. If it wasn't for his receivers...or should I say reciever, dropping passes maybe he wouldn't be in some of those situations where he threw some picks or made bad plays. I don't blame Anderson for the way the year has gone so far, but I am very excited to see what Brady can do! Go Brownies!!!:woohoo1:

Time will tell....the Browns play is not all on Anderson.
They will need to assess him before the season is over so they can determine what to do at the end of the season. Romeo in meeting with the media today, said Anderson would start. Then on WTAM 1100 on the way home Trivisano just got the word through Browns personnel, that Brady was going to start. He called and confirmed. Hmmmmmmmm, sounds like someone made a different decision.;)
Braylon has dropped more passes than Heiden has caught and Heiden caught every ball thrown to him this year except for one.
Braylon's dropped pass on Sunday cost the Browns the season. That long pass when the score was tied late in the game would of turned the momentum back to the Browns favor....But Nooooooooooooooo...he goes ahead and drops another ball.
His focus is inconsistent.
What was the game plan on Sunday? I had no clue..and I only caught some of the game between hunting.
Were up by 14 late in the game and lose???
Could be a rough several weeks coming up......
By the way...I was an ex 16 Year season ticket holder......50 yard line........

DA is a backup, plays like a backup, and will always be a backup.

Da is a backup, has been playing like a backup, and was a pro bowler last year! Don't get me wrong...I am excited for Brady. I just don't get how a guy has a pro bowl season one year and the plays like hell the next!

He signed a contract for pretty good money...so that explains that, but Brady Quinn in College never impressed me. I hope he does in his Pro career.
Anderson I agree has also been inconsistent, but he's a reflection of the play calling as well.
Brady may be good for the Browns and I hope he does well, but he has to step up and show the fans that he can handle the job.
Browns losses so far don't fall entirely on Anderson. In "Team" games it's the team that wins or loses.
The defense this past sunday played a bad game....they gave up 154 yards rushing to a rookie running back and back up to McGahee!!!
They gave 2 TD's in the critical part of the game to enable Baltimore to tie the game.
Braylon drops a key reception that could of turned momentum back to Cleveland, and even put them ahead late in the game.
Anderson is not the only issue. It goes deeper that Anderson.
I'm not expecting much and hope I'm wrong but am probably not.

From what I hear (from a relative that's familiar with some of the team management), the play calling has been affected by DA's inconsistency. They've had to dumb up in some critical situations.

Caught most of Quinns's debut last night and he was pretty good.
In fact , I think he did a nice job. Denver's D isn't that great, but for his 1st start, not too shabby.
Too bad the overall poor performance of the team goes deeper than the quarterback!!
Someday we may have our old Browns team back...some day!:D

I am usually a stand by the coach kind of guy, but enough is enough. This team over-achieved last year with a weak schedule and everyone proclaimed, "Voila, the Browns have arrived!" I knew they hadn't. They had no business losing to the Cardinals last year and no business losing to the Steelers the 2nd time around last year. They should have finished 12-4 and in the playoffs for sure. Instead they crusied in at 10-5 and gave everyone and extension for a job well done. What a bunch of mularkey!
I do like Savage as he has put a LOT of talent on this team. We have some great playmakers and they are not executing, but I think that is largely scheme. I have had enough of Crennel ball. He clearly is not a strong leader, doesn't seem to have buy in from the players, lacks creativity on both sides of the ball for play calling and has terrible game managment skills. He deserves to be fired. He has had long enough to prove he can win as a head coach at this level. I think Cowher or Schottenhiemer could win with this team. Who runs a 3-4 defense and then plays mostly read and react zone defense out of it? It's retarded!
I honestly, want to see them fire Crennel and all of his staff and hire Schottenheimer. He can win with talent and this team is loaded. They need to address secondary, depth on D-line & O-line and depth @ WR in the offseason. Bring back Marty ball and it is on!
There. I feel better now.

Im with you. Crennel will be gone by the end of the season. We need a hard nosed coach

Quinn did a good job. Crennel is on borrowed time. Cribbs should be used more often in tandem with the quarterback.

I think quinn looked good and does better for use, he has mobility and gets the ball out fast and he is smart with a rocket arm. I have heard that cower is looking for a house in north east ohio. :shhh: I also heard a couple rumors about browns firing crennel and getting a interm coach for the season but have cower all ready..but we will so..I hope so and should take edwards out for a game and start stallworth and cribbs
