Ventured into a new spot today to scout a couple of new stand locations. I was looking to find where the monster 12, which my bud and I have been seeking, has been hiding.
What I found was the absolute most buck sign I have ever seen. No joke, there were 75+ rubs within a 200 yard stretch. Some of them were on trees pushing a foot in diameter. Things are getting real hot in NE Ohio (You're right XX78). ;) Made a run to Gander, picked up a couple more stands and got them hung for the weekend.
Also found a massive rub line at another spot yesterday. Again, 12"+ trees were walloped. I think those deer are staying in the standing corn till dark for now, but they'll be running wild soon.
