I was setting at my desk today pondering what to do about lunch when it dawned on me that I hadn't shot my bow in about ten days. Things at our store have been pretty exciting lately and I just havn't thought about it since I came back from my last hunting trip. I went to the range at the state fish hatchery here in St.Marys and spent 1/2 an hour or so poking holes in the broadhead target. I didn't do bad but I wasn't as sharp as I was back at the first of the month when I was shooting almost every day. I'm going to spend my lunch time at the range between now and 11/7 when I leave for the rut hunt down at wolf creek. How often do the rest of you guys shoot during "the season"?

I try to shoot 2-3 tiems a week. Nto always a bunch of arrows, it may only be 6 or 8 arrows in one sitting. But jsut enough to let me know things are still on!

I shoot at least one grouping about 3-4 times per week. It really doesn't take that much time to shoot a little, especially since we still have our "range" up behind the house. Grab my bow and a few arrows, step out on the back porch and shoot.

I've still got my targets set up out at the house too...I've just been doing the dark to dark shift at the store...I hope Obama hurrys up and gets elected so I can redistribute all the money we make here at the Sears store amd retire...

A few times per week, in my back yard. I have a "range" set up behind the house, and I shoot targets both from the ground and elevated from my kids' playset. The platform I shoot from on the playset is only about eight feet rom the ground, but it's something.

During the summer I shoot the public ranges and courses at Berlin and Spencer.

I usually try to go get ready to hunt a little early and take a few shots before I leave to go to my treestand each time out.

I try to shoot at least 2-3 times per week during the season, just a few shots to make sure that everything is working...other than that year round.

3-4 times a week 30 minutes or more at a time. I shoot mostly for fun not just to stay in shape for the season.

I used to shoot five or six days a week (during and after the season). Just prior to going into the woods I'd make sure my "on board targeting computer" was calibrated correctly by shooting a couple pine cones with field points.

I shoot a 100 arrows a week minimum year round. I have shot at least 20 arrows everyday this season but 5 or 6. I leave no room for excuses...

I shoot 3D, so I try to shoot everyday to work on form. Even if it's just a couple arrows....
