Anyone have any experience with the 17HRM?? Looks to be small game killing bullet. Remington makes a 597 17HRM for about $350. Clark custom guns has a barrel to convert a Ruger 10/22 22WM to a 17HRM. I think you just switch out the barrel and everything else works Velocities at about 2600fps, 11 inch drop 250yds and dead on a 175. Just wondering about the actual results on hogs or other small game.

I have one in Marlin and Rossi Rifles and Taurus Tracker revolver. They shoot great and "STOMP" them hog out to 200 yrds. The Tracker is good with me out to about 100 yrds. Someone else might get more yards. Right now I'm using the Tracker revolver most. I really like CCI "TNT" 17 hmr. for hogs. I use Hornady or Rems for Tree "RATS". Go for it you'll love them. My friends have my rifles now. There not getting the TAURUS TRACKER!?

I have a Marlin 17v and love it. Most groups under 100yds are in one ragged hole. I'm gonna use it for squirrels and fox this fall. Too small for coyotes - they will be receiving 130 grains of love from my .270.

Hey man havent heard from ya in a while. Im moving this Saturday but I should be back up this way quite a bit. We need to go coyote hunting sometime in the near future.. I went out to my deer grounds yesterday for about an hour and seen 5 deer. You'll have to come muzzle loading with me or during bow season :)

Zfish-
Sounds good to me. I heard we may be hiring in Cinci - I'll be down there Monday and let you know what I find out.
