Turned out the beagle last night and let him run some bunnies.
He ran really good for about 2 hours. Brought some bunnies right by me. Really getting the itch, especially with this crappy weather we have had all summer. Anybody else gettin that way?

The itch. I think I have a rash I want to get out so bad. Squirrel will be the first but I cant wait for deer season to open. Been shooting my bow and am all ready to hit the woods. Hope the skeetas aint to bad this year........ Yeah Right! As far as rabbit hunting, first day is always on my list of vacation days. Every year for the last 6 or 8 years a bunch of us get together and hunt private land here in NW Ohio.

I keep my hunting itch pretty well under control w/ varminting balm. :D To me though rabbit hunting ain't rabbit hunting unless you got a beagle that can run them. :cool: :) I had a MASTER beagle when I was in high school. Most of the time he was tied to the box while I ran up & down the gym floor in shorts & a tank top bounding a ball. If I could live my life over again one of the top things on my list would be forget sports & to run the piss out of that dog & him & I have the times of our lives. :D :D :D Oh well, to quick old & to late smart.
