I like the 3 dot scopes instead of the single dot. Of course the magnefied ones are best but too expensive for my taste.

I ordered the 3-dot scope from Horton off the internet last March and just put it on a couple of weeks ago. After about 15 or 20 shots the metal tube thing inside the scope broke loose and one of the inside lenses popped out of its groove!? I called them today and they said to send it back and I guess they will fix it or replace it I dunno? Has anyone else had any problems with the Horton scope falling apart?

I perfer the multi recticle doesn't get much easier then that to sight in... but have 2 hortons with 3 red dot scopes... not bad... never had them break before.... only problem I had was trying to figure out why when i moved my sights... i kept shooting left.. stumped me for a while... till i finally realized... set everything back at 0... then sight it in again... only took me a week to figure out I was maxed turns ... duh

Hey i just got a new Simmons 3-9 x 32 22 Mag riflescope. And i kno what you guys are thinking a riflescope. Well i was at dick's and was debating what crossbow scope i should get than the guy at dick's said if i want a crossbow scope i need to change the mount bc the mount i have on my old horton supermag is a 22/pellet gun mount. So i knew the new mount would cost more $ and take long to b shipped so the guy suggested the simmons and its pretty nice. Even though its a riflescope he told me how to site in.
I shoot the excalibur varizone scope. You have to chonograph your hunting arrow setup, set it on the scope, then sight it in. My center multipex is at 20 then 30,40,50, etc. It has one above the 20 that is the 10 yard. Works great.

I just got a red dot. I think it was Milliet (sp). I had it on for about 5 days before I harvest my first buck. I don't like the fact I have to get a Special battery for it. But it took me about 1 hour to site it in.

Excalibur has 2 scopes. The varizone and the Lumizone. The Lumizone has a lighted reticle. I never use the lighted reticle but it lets in more light than the Varizone. You sight it in at 20 yards then shoot the longer ranges. You adjust the by shooting the bolts at the longer ranges and adjust the yardage numbers on the sight until your bolts are hitting correct at 30, 40 and 50 yards. You do not need a chrono to do this. . None of the CB I have will shoot the advertised speed. I shoot a heavier bolt and my number on the scope is 310 I believe. That makes all my scope right on out to 50 yards. My CB is advertised at 350 fps.
Last year they had some issues with some scopes. That has been corrected. They have the best service I have ever had on a CB and they make things right.
