Sure is hot out there. I won't get out again until next weekend. I'm looking forward to it as that will be my first venture into the woods since opening day.

They didn't come out into the fields until 7:20 last night where I was at.

If it were me, I would wait until the end of the week. I know here in SE Ohio we are supposed to get up to the mid 80's tomorrow! :yikes:

By Friday and Saturday its supposed to be down in the mid 30's for overnight lows!

I haven't been seeing anything until just about dark. Maybe 15 minutes or so before it's to dark to shoot. I agree, to warm still. We should see alot more activity in a few more weeks.

just a quick tip hunt the coves where it is shaded and cooler. becareful and queit walking in. the deer have been beding down in those shaded coves and close to a water source.you might be able to sneak up on one if your really queit and take your time.

I know how the old saying goes "you can't kill 'em from the couch", but I think hunting my good areas in heat like this does more harm than good at least during mid Oct). I know I sure as heck wouldn't be up running around in this crap if I had a winter coat on.

It's too darn hot! If I'm going to sweat like that, I'd rather be in the bedroom. Know what I mean? ;)

I know my last trip out the deer were moving late in the evening, the last 45 minutes or so. Hopefully we'll get a good cool down.
