My First Deer!

this is my first deer ever and i took her with my diamond bow. What an experience. i cant wait to get my buck

So let's hear some more to the story. What time did you see her? What time did you shoot her? Were you in a tree stand or on the ground? Did she fall in place or did she run off and if so did you have to wait awhile to track her? Oh this is so cool. Nice picture by the way. Good luck going after that buck!!!!

i can give a story. WHen i got home from school i put up a hang on stand then went back and got all my huinting clothes and gear on. I was out there for fifteen minutes when four doe came up and i just pulled back and released and she dropped 30 yards. I went back to the house and got my brother and a friend . we waited only 30 minutes becuase i seen her drop, but when we got back there she was still alive trying to run but she couldent really move her back legs. This part kinda made me feel bad. I shot her again in the vitals and we went back and waited another 30 min. We went back and then i field dressed her and now shes in the freezer. :D

Congrats on the first one, she is a good looking deer, good luck towards getting your buck but dont be discouraged if you dont get em' this year, I know many hunters myself included that killing a buck can be few and far between especially when you are bowhunting, but if you keep at it you'll get your trophy one of these kills.
