I doubt many know it but I help to moderate the Fly Tying/Fishing forum on Steve's other site Michigan-Sportsman.com. Every year in September we hold what we call a Salmon Slam. Usually the rivers of Northwest Michigan are loaded with salmon this time of year. We stay at a campground in Baldwin near the banks of the Pere Marquette. The PM river offers trout, some early steelhead and lots of salmon. Some members even decide to fish other rivers and head off only to return to the campground for a helluva party and feast on Saturday where everyone brings a dish. Trust me, there's plenty of food.
Anyways, we wanted to invite all the Ohiosportsman.com members to join us. I'm going to post a few links to some of the posts on the other site should anyone want details. I hope a few of you can make it. Food, friendship, fun and fish. You can't go wrong.
