I got a doe

I got a nice mature doe on thursday night just before dark. Double lung shot, high hit, and my arrow did not pass through her, I think it hit the opposite shoulderblade. She went 70 yards, with no blood trail except for the last 5 or 6 yards and once where she jumped/tripped over a downed tree. There was a nice splash there. I took her in a woods that has belonged to my family since the 1830's. Never did find my arrow either. She dressed out at about 160 lbs. New Guy
