at the rest of the o line.there's no rehring.he's injured and cordle moved to his spot and a freshman moved to center.hope that clears it up a bit.i guess he's a hell of alot more talented than SOME people think!!!
funny but it seems like some michigan fans hunger to watch GOOD football can only be satisfied by watching ohio state!!!

Jeffmo...your right...once again!

I think a great question is..... why UM doesn't have a whole offensive line...or where did the defense run off to...Michigan State maybe? Bye week is great for some fans, so they catch a breather from some razzing after another loss

Barring injuries to others, I highly doubt he finishes the year as a starter

when the announcers named the o line starters yesterday they said that rehring was injured and that cordle had been moved to his spot.

apparently he was hurt during the usc game.
here's what i found from a columbus paper:

Offensive line shuffled
With left guard Steve Rehring out for Saturday because of an undisclosed injury to his lower left leg, the Buckeyes are experimenting with line combinations, two of which involve starting a member of the highly touted 2008 recruiting class.

The first possibility is moving right tackle Bryant Browning to Rehring's spot and inserting freshman J.B. Shugarts at right tackle. The other has freshman Michael Brewster at center and Jim Cordle moving to left guard.

cordle will start the rest of the season,no doubt about it!

Cordle isn't going anywhere - the only reason the freshman can play the center position is because Jimmy is right next to him helping him with the calls, watching the safeties, etc.

Brewster is going to be a good one, but he isn't ready to make all the calls just yet. The center position is a tough one in this regard - they are the QB of the O line.

No, Rehring won't get his spot back barring injuries. Those upperclassmen better be watching their backs.

rehring is a bull moose with a jersey.he'll be back as soon as he's healed up.

he wasny any dumber than some of the others...just cause clarett wasnt the smartest on the field didnt make him a poor runner...i know people that played against him in high school and i seen him destroy players while he was at ohio state...funny how he was the medias baby for 3 yrs. than they done a 360 on him his senior yr...but thats typical of the media and some buy that stuff...his senior yr. they(other teams) were so concerned bout him that they let the other linebackers have a field day...and thats xactly how those linebackers summed it up...just his presence disrupted offenses...

Katzenoyer was agood one for sure. But his intelligence is what slowed him in the pro's. It was well documented how tough it was for his tutors to help him.
