I have a moultrie I-40 camera and it has been great all summer. This past week when i checked it the front display panel was almost not visible to the point you can't even jog throught the settings because you can't even see what they are. The batteries are brand new so i know they aren't dead. Has anybody else had this problem?? I just got it last December for Christmas so it is still under warranty. I think i will be contacting Moultrie and sending it back to see what is wrong with it.

If you got the camera from Cabelas they will honor a one year replacement, with great service.
I had a similar problem with my moultrie and tried working through Moultrie to fix it and I got strung out over a month trying to get hold of someone to talk to (which is very difficult) and finally when I talked with a representative they gave me a list of things to try and fix it. None of those solutions worked, so instead of calling them back numerous times like I did before I called Cabelas, they had me send my defective camera back and they sent me a replacement within a couple of days.
Great camera for the price just a little understaffed in customer service.
Good luck

buy your next moultrie from llbean.com
they replace anything.....any time - for life !
I'm getting ready to send an i-60 back due to it taking 5 second vid clips whether it's programmed to 5, 15, or 30 sec. & taking 'white' pics all the time. No problems ever sending anything back to the bean & if you have their credit card they don't charge you for shipping or return shipping.
only way to go.

Got a hold of Moultrie anthey said to send it back and it will be repaired or replaced no questions asked since it is under warranty and my warranty is extended another year from the repair date. So customer service has been good so far. I will just be without my camera for a few weeks.
Did you have it placed in direct sunlight? I have heard of them going bad due to the direct light.
