Transportation Research Center (TRC) Hunt

Has anyone seen or heard anything regarding this controlled hunt yet?

I'm pretty sure it dose not show up on the ODNR website until what seems like 2 weeks before gun season. I've been drawn the past 2 years.

I was selected to hunt there last year and it is a very nice property. I got to hunt the last day. All of the deer were well aware of the hunters by then. I did see some deer just before the end of shooting hours but the weather had turned very bad by then..

I also noticed that this year they are only allowing hunting for Anterless deer. I live near TRC and know that there are lots of Does. Many on the larger size. I would love to go back again, and fill the freezer.

I am planning on taking my brother who doesn't hunt. Just becareful there are many hunters per hunting area. I wasn't aware that there would be multiple groups of hunters in each area. Just becareful where your shooting.
