I don't think we'll have anything to worry about... I could pop ann arbor's a whore two does the first day if I wanted to and probably whoop them for the whole contest... however I'll give them a few ann arbor's a whore weeks to see if they can find any of them little deer... I don't think they knew what they were ann arbors a whore getting themselves into when they agreed to go up against us...

In all Honesty, who EFFING cares? Both teams lost. A loss is a loss is a loss is a loss! Doesn't matter if it's #1 or Our Sisters of the poor. For all you OSU fans already bragging, I'm not sure I really know any UM fans that expect to compete, let alone win against OSU this year. You guys are just here letting everyone see why you are the most hated team in CF. You guys are really showing your ass. Sprtsman34, if Tressell owns UM, did he pay as much for it as he did all those players at Youngstown State when he was busted for lack of institutional control? Or as much as he did for Mo Claretts car that got broken into? Or as much as Ted Sarniak pays for Pryors Corvette he lent him for Prom or the Hyundai he's driving now?

You should read back a ways instead of jumping in midstream. I have brought that up. And Yes, what Tressell did absolutey kept youngstown State from competing in post season play. What is even worse is that Reggie Bush accepted 4 times the amount of gifts/Money than Webber ever did and you will never see the NCAA do anything about it.

Well boys, again, I say I've been hesitant to trash talk these guys. Lemme tell you why:
Take this story for example. Word has it this guy sat along M-turdy-five in his truck for 5 days day after day passing up smaller deer. (3 total in 5 days)
Finally after strenuous hours of listening to lite rock 105, puffing down 2 packs of Misty Menthol Lights a day and sipping down several gallons of latte' from his thermos, FINALLY his chance arrived.
Not wanting to blow this moment of a lifetime, he very slowly rolled down his fogged up truck window. Flicking away his last Misty Menthol, he looked very carefully thru the crosshairs of his .243. Oh No !!! He could not make the beast out !!
Unbeknownst to him (due to the distraction of the Abba marathon on his favorite radio station, time had slipped away) it had become too dark to see thru his scope. This skilled hunter had been here before though, darkness would not be the victor tonight. Pulling out his 12v 200 candlepower spotlight, he silently plugged in "ol faithful."
Beaming out the "flood", it lit just enough of the roadside carrot munching monster for him to hunker down and pull off the shot...and the shot....and the shot. The third time he connected. Instantly the monster went down.
In his head the sound of "The Victors" was going off. He started to do a little dance. Funny,he thought, I haven't been hearing that song much on Saturdays anymore. Hmmm.
After running down the road to beat the guy in the next truck parked alongside the road to claim his prize, his mouth dropped open. A perfect shot !!!! Right in one ear and out the other !! And no blood !! Seems as if there was nothing between those ears of that Michigan deer to impact. Later he found out the cause of death was a carrot lodged in the deer's windpipe. Seems he scared it to death on the first shot and the deer instinctively inhaled it at the alarm of it all.
Now the proud hunter hoisted the deer over his shoulders and carried it to the bed of his truck. Darn it all anyway !!!!!! Leaving his ol' faithful spotlight on in the truck had caused the battery to go dead. Thinking of just carrying the deer home,(after all, 65 lbs. wouldn't break his back) it was now completely dark and the thought of all those other trucks still parked all over the roadsides sent chills down his spine. He imagined himself on the receiving end of all those spray and prays he had shot off into the Michigan moonlight. Wisely calling his friend, he picked him up on the 4 wheeler and the joyful buddies headed for home. (only after fighting who was gonna sit in back)
Knowing what was at stake, his buddy immediately took his picture with the trophy. Knowing they had to get this picture posted, they logged in to Michigansportsman.com and entered the deer in the contest. Despite all their efforts though, they came up just short, narrowly finishing a close second to the deer caught on the trailcam. (See above)

See guys,it's stories like these that make me think before I run my mouth with these Michiganders !!!

We may have to wait to spell ohio until we get to the third grade, but atleast we know how to use the word "there" in the correct context by the second grade. I believe the word you meant to use was "their." Geesh!!!!!:coco:
If you Michigan folk hunt deer like you use your grammar I dont think us Ohioans will have a problem. Remember, four legged barn yard animals with horns do not pass as 2 pointers in ohio like in Michigan. Especially in this contest we have going. Remember, deer have antlers; cows and goats have horns. There is a difference, horns are not shed and antlers are.

They have it real tough up there this year. Just the sheer pressure on the herd being brought upon them by too many hunters after too few deer is bad enough. No wonder so many of them give up hunting and take up bowling.
Let's show them what being real sportsmen is about. Since they can't wait for Bambi to show up at the feed trough, they'll need to learn to hunt like real men. They'll need to learn about stand placement, calling, tracking, etc. Let's help them out for the sake of all that deer hunting means to each and every one of us.
I'll be the first to extend the hand of friendship to our brothers up North by educating them and offering up a few pointers that will ensure their success and level the playing field of our contest. I'll type this real slow because I know almost all of you Michiganders cannot read very fast.
Remember that the playing field has changed. You will not be successful if you attempt to hunt deer the way you have in the past. The woods are very thick in places and you need to focus on areas that have been previously cleared a bit. Public land is not an option because of this. You'll need to focus on Private Property. Many farmers are more than willing to give permission to hunt.
One of the benefits to hunting deer in these areas is that they are more accepting to the presence of hunters. They see people almost every day and by nature, have become less skittish. They also exhibit behaviors slightly different from Public land deer. One example of this is that they tend to congregate in larger numbers. If you see one, chances are that there will be many more nearby. They also respond more readily to calling, especially bleat calls. Just a few bleats and the herd will literally stampede in your direction.
I know that some of you have hunted for many years and don't see that many deer on Public Land. Here's a nice photo of a herd of mighty fine Michigan spike bucks, just in case you haven't seen one up close.
Remember - This is what you're after.

A Michigan family of football supporters for The University of Michigan head out one Saturday to do their Christmas shopping. While in the sports shop, the son picks up an Ohio State jersey and says to his older sister, "I've decided to become a Buckeye fan and I would like this for Christmas."
His big sister is outraged by this and promptly whacks him around the head and says, "Go talk to mother."
"Yes, son?"
"I've decided I'm going to be a Buckeye fan and I would like this jersey for Christmas."
The mother is outraged at this, promptly whacks him around the head and says, "Go talk to your father!"
Off he goes with the Ohio State jersey in hand and finds his father.
"Yes, son?"
"I've decided I'm going to be an Ohio State fan and I would like this jersey for Christmas."
The father is outraged and promptly whacks his son around the head and screams, "No son of mine is ever going to be seen in That!"
About half an hour later, they're all back in the car and driving toward home. The father turns to his son and says, "Son, I hope you've learned something today."
The son says, "Yes, Dad, I have."
"Good, son. What is it?"
"I've only been a Buckeye fan for a little more than an hour and I already hate you Michigan bastards!"

A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a michigan fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they're michigan fans too. Not really knowing what an michiganfan is but wanting to be like their teacher, their hands explode into the air like fleshy fireworks
There is, however, one exception. A girl named Kristen has not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different.
"Because I'm not a wolverine." "Then," asks the teacher, "What are you?" "Why I'm a proud ohio state fan," boasts the little girl.
The teacher is perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Kristen why she is a rebel.
"Well, my mom and dad are ohio state fans, so I'm a buckeye , too."
The teacher is now angry. "That's no reason," she says loudly. "What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron. What would you be then?"
A pause, and a smile.
"Then," says Kristen, "I'd be a wolverine ."

i was over looking at the harvest thread on the michigan site and it about made me puke. i just hope our harvest thread does not look anything like that. slit throats, blood on trees 5 feet high, tongues hanging all over the place, etc... i just hope everyone here, and i know everyone will, takes a little pride in their pictures and show some respect for the animal.

Wow.... You sound like a a tree huggin whine ass.....The pics are what they are.....They are pics of deer kills. Not of Bambi at the petting zoo. Sound like some here needs to keep their hunting to video games....Or just keep dreaming that killing deer is not a bloody affair.
Oh by the way with posts like this , I really stand by my Avatar....

I just saw this hot new property these Michiganders just bought (I mean got) permission to hunt.
It's not much different than what they were used to except after years of trial and error,I hear the waterin' trough is now no closer than 25 yds from the feeder. Seems as if some of the feed was broadcasting into the water and spoiling. Man,these guys are getting brighter.
Here's a view from the SW stand sight:

I hear they are very excited about this new property as they have already located 4 yr old bucks that are about the size of our yearling does !! :yikes:

Just saying ti would be odd to have a "record" like that then REFUSE to allow anyone to verify it. What reason (other then lieing) would anyone have for doing that?

I was at a deer camp up near Lake Mullett. At about 10am after they loaded the blind... trailer... errr... whatever you call them... One of the guys stepped out of the hunting cabin and said "Every deer season I keep getting older and the deer stay the same age"

Man I feel bad now.:mischeif: One simple misunderstanding and those Michigan boys go and snatch up one of our top prospects.
We Buckeyes are in trouble now. Seems the boys at MS.com have a new member to help 'em out. This new member loves his new buddies so much he's willing to rid himself of the "inheritance" and move up north. In fact he looks forward to moving there real soon. What would Granddad say 'bout this ? :coco:
Oh well, his style of shooting,err.. I mean hunting, would fit in perfect with those Michigan morons. "Patience is the key" in Michigan I hear cause it could be days or weeks before you see a deer.
When you do see one but it's outta range you better say a prayer and lob an arrow at the little mongrel cause who knows when the next one is gonna come through. Shoot first, ask questions later and ohhhhh yes, in Michigan-tags are optional !!

Anybody see some of the pictures the MS folks are posting lately? They are pretty laughable. In one pic a guy has a picture of a doe and a 3 point he shot. The doe dwarfs the buck. Pretty effin sad.
