First off: UM @ ND. Sadly enough, I'm worried about this game. When you lose to a Geographical rival, Recruiting takes a hit. We are in on all the same kids as ND. I think UM should win by 7-10 points. From all rports, ND's offense is as inept as UM's. I think this will be a game decided by ST's, Field position, and turnovers.

OSU @ USC. I think it'll be closer than most think, even without Beanie. The difference will be how Boeckman handles all the pressure he will see. USC is gonna let loose after him till they prove they can run or stop them. If OSU can be effective early, they may be able to make USC a little more predictable and keep it close the whole way. I think USC 34-26

I don't think it will be quite that high scoring, especially if OSU establishes the run game (we will miss Chris Wells). You're right, the hinge on this game for OSU is the offensive line play and team blocking. Obviously both teams have talent, it comes down to coaching and execution in all phases.

I'm going to say 24-20 OSU
GO BUCKS !!!

it couldn't have went worse for UM:nono: I'll look at the silver lining and be happy about the progress of our offense, despite all the turnovers. As I said last week, McGuffie is a future All American. Despite the 35 points, our defense played pretty good minus 2 big plays.

Why do even watch these games! Halftime and I can't bear to watch the second half. I am not even gonna get started on the play calling, but 3 and 22 and you run the option with Boeckman! Come on!:irked: Penalties costing touchdowns, and how didn't they see his foot was on the line???? Where is the defense? God bless Kirk!

Red - a lot of your mistakes should take care of themselves; like guys dropping the ball, not securing the ball, etc. A bunch of young pups and the weather was piss. I was surprised at the defense - expected a much better effort. ND isn't near as good as you guys made them look.

And I have watched McGuffie and I'm just not as impressed with him. I don't see the speed he supposedly has. He has great moves and his small stature makes him hard to find, but he doesn't look very fast to me as far as north/south. He does seem to be a tough kid too and that helps as you take a beating in league play.

Watching the UM offense you can see what "can be"; especially when you get a mobile QB that can throw. But until the defense plays as well as it is capable their will be trouble.

I actually thought before the season started UM would win 7-8 games; I am now inclined to believe the bowl game streak is in jeapardy. The defense will need to improve and the stupid mistakes (young kids make stupid mistakes) need to stop or the bleeding won't IMO.

I am now just hoping for a winning season.
