I'll let you know, I want them because I have a ways to walk for hunting a couple spots, should make it easy. Plus it will add 3dozen to my field spread.

I should have them by Thursday. They were shipped from Canada so it took a while to get here. Soon as I try them, which will probably be next week I let you guys know how they are.

I accidentally left some in a flooded blind all winter and summer. There a litte discolored but other wise fine. I thought for sure they would have absorbed a bunch of water or been ripped apart by ice but they weathered much better then I thought. For you guys carrying your decoys Little Big Horn makes an awesome back pac called the pac-lounge. They have also designed a system for carrying FUD's that attaches toe the pac-lounge. I use mine all the time and it's awesome. I have the prototype of the FUD pouch and I'm not sure if it's on the market just yet.

I spoke to Scott Murray the other day about doing some more promotional work for him (Blackwater) and he told me about the improvements to the FUDS. I asked him to send me some so I could see for myself. Holy cow fellas they have gone way over board on these decoys. I and other hunters had complained about the rivets used to hold the FUDS together would break. Scott Murray listned and the new FUDS are awesome. The rivets are all metal now and the head are huge which makes them much stronger now. I would suggest you fellas get some but make sure you are getting the new process FUDS. The new decoys have rivet heads that are at least 1/2" dia as opposed to 1/4". There was never a qustion as to teh effectiveness of FUDS. We kill lots of birds using them in a secret little marsh we hunt. Adam Grimm did a fine job painting these decoys.

Out in ND hunting now with FUDS. They are nice to have. Only down side is they take a lot longer to set up. Plus the do not anchor well if there is not vegetation. Tried hunting some open water with them and couldn't because they kept blowing away.

By the way, the hunting here in SE ND sucks right now. We are seeing more pheasants the ducks. For three of us, we have only killed 18 ducks since Sunday. Birds are just not down and the potholes are mostly dry.

The birds also hate the robo ducks.

Well I just got back and really don't like the fuds, like someone said earlier the plastic rivets break easily. I think out of the 3 dozen goose fuds I had 6 or 8 break due to the plastic. I plan to contact the company and get metal ones to replace them and its going to be a pain in the but to do but otherwise it will be a matter of time before they break. I love them for field setups, they work great, on water if theres a lot of wind they want to float away even while anchored. While up in ND i just left them set up in the back of the truck so I didnt' have to put them together everyday. If I can't get the metal screws I probably just sell them.
