i am in the process of buying a home in ohio and want to put up a barn there as a man/trophy room. i want to get some ideas from some of you to see what your trophy rooms look like. i would like to get some old barnwood to do the interior walls in. i do not have any monster deer yet , but that will change one day when i am actually in ohio, hopefully. i am currently out of the state 10 months a year due to a traveling job. i still have not had the time to make the coyote into a rug that is on the wall. all my mounts now are in my brothers basement. thanks in advance for anyone who replies, any tips for a room would help. i am also getting that itch to hunt ,but will not be back in ohio until october 25th, so seeing some deer mounts will help pass the time. so lets see some of these big bucks that everyone talks about. thanks.

I don't have a wall to show...I could show some pics of antlers and fish and such and they're all trophies to me but I have yet to harvest anything I would call a wallhanger. Maybe this year?

Thanks for sharing yours, you got a good start to a handsome wall!

Did you get all of those in Mercer? If so that is quite a feat. I like the idea of log cabin siding or knotty pine walls, but that's just me.

the 9 point with the open mouth was from indiana, me and a friend have hunted there the last 2 years during gun season on the weekends. the 10 point and the smaller 8 are from mercer county. the wider 8 point is from auglaize county, about 500 yards from the mercer county line. i have not killed anything huge by any means, but the real big deer around here are few and far between. see some every year but they are hard to find during daylight. alot of hunting pressure and open ground. if people see a big deer it does not take long for everyone and their brother to hunt where their not supposed to.
thanks to those who have posted, keep em coming, i like to see how different styles of mounts look and how rooms are set up. thanks

We've added several more since this was taken, but this is our basement at the family farm.
