The national weather service has released its fall/winter forecast. The entire midwest from St. Louis to Detroit will be above normal temps. with below normal precipitation. The great lakes will be normal temps with below normal precipitation.
I saw you guys put up the farmers almanac forecast. I usually go with the national weather service forecast because the farmers almanac "predicts" the weather 2 yrs in advance...you cant predict the weather that far out, but to each its own

From what I've seen in the last week they cant predict the weather one day in advance let alone several months. I take what meteorologist say with a grain of salt. Its a voodoo science with little legitimacy as far as I can tell. In fact if they are calling for above normal temps and below normal precip I will make my official prediction of the coldest winter in ten years with precip at least ten inches over normal. I just wish I could find someone to pay me for being wrong most of the time like they do.:coco:

Ha ha, I just can't figure out why they just don't cover their arse and go with a 50/50 chance of rain/snow everyday. You have nothing to lose!

I agree because we all know we're heating the globe daily with the billions of tons of CO2 we're burning:yikes:

am sorry but Al Gore is a ---------. Well I won't say what names come to mind but I'm sure you can think of a few. He is the biggest hippocrite (I think thats how you spell it) when it comes to global warming. He has a larger carbon foot print than the whole state of Ohio combined. Well I guess that is what you get with 99% of the politicians these days.
P.S. By the way I am sick of trying to bow hunt in 70+ degree weather. Once Sept. 27th hits I say let it snow let it snow let it snow!

Thats all about right, If you cant do anything you can be a wheather man. What tears me up about it is that every time a wheather man screws a prediction up his excuse always is, I get my imformation from the national wheather sevice or something. Never say I just screwed up.

yea... last winter wasnt supposed to be bad either... then the blizzard of 08 struck.lol. I know it wasnt a blizzard but we couldnt get out of our driveway with 4 wheel drive. A gravel driveway, a mile into the woods, a small brook that runs down it when raining and early year snow fall, it gets NASTY.
