We had 108 qualified entrys in this years contest. The random number generator was shuffled (calculated) 10 times. Here are the results in numerical order. The number assigned to the hunter was in the order they posted (entered) in the sign up thread.

I made the decision that 18 teams (6 to a team) was manageable and a good choice for the contest this year. I would hope that some new friendships and comaraderie are developed as I know several were last year. We had a fun 2007/2008 contest here at Ohiosportsman.com. A lot of us learned some things in the process. I am hoping 2008/2009 continues that goodwill and sportsmanship. Without further ado...

Please DO NOT bombard my pm box with questions. Let's get settled and then work out the kinks whatever they may be through the open forum. I will be starting a new thread in this forum titled "2008/2009 Alternate Sign Up Roster.
I will open the alternate signup tonight and close it next Monday, Sept 1st at midnight. Concurrently, all entrants listed above will have that time period to check in with their team. At that time, those who have not checked in will be deemed to be not interested in participating. The same will be replaced randomly from the alternate list on September 2nd. At that time teams will be considered final and no substitutes or changes will be made.
Please DO find what number team you are on. Find your Team Thread in this subforum and CHECK IN by the assigned date. I WILL START THE TEAM THREADS...TEAM #1, TEAM #2, etc...that is where everyone should "check in". I will have those up as soon as possible. In the mean time, please feel free to start your own team threads but please use your TEAM # as the title...I can/will edit the thread titles as teams choose their monikers.
Trying to cover a lot of bases tonight so I hope you don't think me too rigid. I'm just trying to make the best use of the time I can volunteer to make this "contest" a great addition to our deer hunting season.
Get to know your team mates, start making your plans and talking trash. Above all remember this is all for fun. The prize is in the eye of the beholder. Have a great season all.
