Guys, I really want to go to at least one, hopefully two buckeyes games this year. It doesnt matter which ones just so they are at home. I know tix are going to be hard to come by, but I was wondering if anyone knew where I would be able to get some. I know stubhub has them but of course the prices are jacked up and Im a little leary about getting ripped off on there...anyone that has any helpful input I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I give any extras to family - would literally be shot if I did anything else.
I'll be at the opener and the Troy game for sure - trying to make plans to travel to Madison this year. If you've never been up there to a game it is a great twon and place to see a FB game.
Try hangonsloopy.com and check it daily leading up to the game and you may find some public buy tickets on sale. Otherwise you are stuck paying a ton or you have to know somebody.

if you don't know anyone who gets season tickets a REPUTABLE ticket broker would be the best, risk free way to go.
my sister in law works for osu and she sells hers every year.

ebay
Just be ready to pay. Once the wedding is over, I plan on buying tickets to at least one game this year. They are so hard to get it is unreal. My uncle is a 1976 grad and graduated from law school there a few years later. Even he cannot get season tickets and only gets a couple of sets a year.

$2500 per year will get you season tickets if you are alum - join the Buckeye Club at this level and you are in. Of course you still have to pay for the tickets, so it is more like $3650 or so. What a bargain:yikes:

I know a couple guys that go to games every year and get them from scalpers right before the game. The longer you hold out, the better. IIRC, they usually end up paying between $40-$60 per ticket. Sometimes they are great seats, sometimes not so much.

I got tickets to the Troy game Sept 20. I must have gotten lucky with the new lottery system started this year. It's even getting tough for alumni to get tickets. Used to be I would be almost guaranteed 2 tickets to one game per season, Now I get put into the lottery to determne if I get them or not.
