did he throw the pitt game???????:tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk:
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/26404-rich-rodriguez-agent-admits-ties-to-sports-gambling-what-about-the-pitt-game
In the never ending saga of uselessness, it is now known that Coach Rod's agent, Mike Brown, has ties to sports gambling.
It seems that maybe Rod is controlled more by his agent than his "love" of football and/or money.
In the past I have defended Rod against the accusations that he threw the Pitt game. However, if one would think hard and long enough, some pieces just might fit that (sudoku) puzzle.
Brown has admitted to "shopping around" for Coach Rod. He was continually trying to find him another job. Brown has also admitted to having ties to pro and college betting.
Ya think that Brown's control over Rod had anything to do with the loss to Pitt in the Backyard Brawl?
I really hate to insinuate this heinous act, but in all actuality, it could be the truth.
I really do not believe Coach Rod would throw a game. On the other hand, if he is trying stay in the pocket of a corrupt agent, he just may have to "not try as hard.” Does that make sense?
Brown tells Rod to throw the game, then bets against WVU.
You can view the story and deposition of Mike Brown in the headlines section of www.thankscoachrod.com.
Though I hope the former coach of Coach Bill Stewart's Fiesta Bowl Champs would not stoop so low, after the latest news I am forced to reevaluate the facts and my opinions before I conclude on the matter.
No matter what, Michigan fans better get ready for a bumpy season: A season in which the head coach's mind is far from Ann Arbor.

Musta had Pat White in on it too. Pretending he was seriously injured just so it would be more believable. Oh, the backup QB had to be in on it too. You may be on to something Jeffmo. I can't believe your not employed by the Enquirer or some other reputable News outlet.

I think the guy is a real bum and a classless low life, but he would not throw that game.
Yeah.......losing to Pitt really helped elevate his name in the national spotlight of coaching ranks.
He's darn lucky the UM deal with Miles soured and they looked to him out of desperation.
At the end, I think this will unfold as a "how not to hire a head coach for a once prominent program."

his agent seems to be lacking in alot of way too!
i think that in the long run,wva will be better off without rich and his agent.

Yea, I'm sure we'll see how great WV stays:coco: . Yea kyle he's a real bum and a lowlife for switching jobs because his previous employer promised him all kinds of stuff last year when he was being considered for the Alabama job. Then he re-signs ofr less at WV and they pretty much spit in his face when he ask's where is all the stuff we were promised. OK Kyle, what happens if your offered bigger money and evreything that comes along with it at a bigger financial firm than where you are. But your old place says "Hey, we'll give you a raise and all the other stuff the new place is offering". Then over the course of a year your current place still hasn't delivered and won't because technically what they promised wasn't in writing. So, you're pissed off and the another new, and more prestigious firm comes along and says "hey, we'll double your salary, pay your buyout, and give you whatever you want". Now you go back to your old employer and tell them what your being offerend and they tell you to do whatever you want because they'll see you in court. Not to mention your family getting death threats and your property getting vandalized by fans of the old firm just because you missed out on a big lucrative deal.

I don't think for a second RR threw that game. But, the kids still play the game and like Woody always said it shouldn't even matter if they know what play you are running if you execute. I think PW got hurt and the entire team laid an egg (see OSU/FL) - I think WVU actually thought showing up was going to be enough to beat Pitt and they weren't even prepared for a tough game. I bet they learned a HARD lesson.

Agreed. I hope that isn't gonna be the situation at UM. One key player goes down and boom, dead in the water. Atleast this year we don't have to worry about our star QB.:nono: BTW, Dee, I'm still standing buddy.
