I'm a bit skeptical. They claim no wind planing, but the blades are supposed to stabilize the arrow. Those two statements contradict each other. Helical blades are nothing new, but have never proven to be effective. With flexible, curved blades, it almost seems to me one would get less penetration. I'm thinking another Muzzy knockoff with a "twist".:D If you try them ,let us know how they work out for you. I still go by the belief that any broadhead in the vitals will work quickly and humanely. A poor hit with any broadhead is still a poor hit, so I stick with what shoots well for me, which has always been the Muzzy.

I'm switching too, but not to crimson talons.
I'm going from Muzzy to Magnus Snuffers.

Those Snuffer's are good heads. I tried them a few yrs. ago and actuall took a doe w/ one. It got the job done and she bled out in about 30yds. I'll probably just stay w/ the Spitfire's, they haven't let me down yet. Why change when something works and has proven itself to be reliable.

You'll like the Snuffers, particularly the glue on type with swaged arrows. Your bow needs to be tuned well to shoot them, but they create a devastating hole. Plus, they have a free replacement guarantee.

I like the ideal of not buying replacement blades. I also like the burred edge concept too. Plus they fly awesome too.

I can say I agree with George on this one for sure. Like anything else, everyone has their own prefernce. I personally like 100 gr DEADHEAD by Golden Key. They are very tough and the last 4 deer I have taken with them have dropped in less than 50 yards.

I think Ill stick to my Muzzy 100's. Shot a nice 9 last year and he only went about 30yds. I love the shot placement I had on him, It was almost staight down under my stand. I put it right between his sholder blades.
Spitfire, let us know how they work out for ya.
