Pet coons?

Does anyone know if it is illegal to have a pet coon or not and if it is possible to get a license for it?

I've heard that they can make good pets, but they can also get mean when they get older.

Now this just sounds crazy to me! I am not afraid of snakes. I am not afraid of spiders. I am not afraid of rats. However, raccoons just freak me out. I don't like em, they're sneaky and they can be real mean. My advice, just get a dog!!!!!!

My mom told me they used to have a couple as pets when she was growing up. She said they used to get into everything and did get pretty feisty when they got older. I guess my Grandpa got fed up w/ them one day and disposed of them, if you know what I mean.
