Anybody Hunting Hogs lately??

Just wondering if anyone has been hunting and bagging wild hogs on public land lately???

I still want badly to bag a Boar, I live in Alliance area and none around here,closest place for me would be about 100 miles south from what I have read....with gas prices the way they are, traveling anywhere but locally to just fish is getting costly on a fixed income....

I'm with you with the gas prices it seem to far to drive 2 hours south to chase them without any type of pattern.
But i hear this is the best time to go get them because they get hot and then want to turn and fight than run from you.Not like winter when those buggers will run a county mile.

i have been hunting them getting lots of leads but none playing out so far seen alot of sign but with the hot weather its kinda hard to pinpoint them but i will keep you guys updated

I watched the history channel last week,it was interesting about the Grassman, Ohio's answer to the Susquatch / bigfoot...in the area where deer and hog hunting may be good.....Whats the bag limit on Yetti ???

I do remember reading in the different garbage magazines back in the mid sixties, of Ohio's Wild HAIRY Women that has been said to kidnap men and take them into the woods.......I thought they were talking about an Italian Girl I knew that had a better start on a Moustache then I did....and hairy arm pits......
Most of my buds were italian so no ethnic dig, just facts...ha.ha.

Seriously though, someday I want to bag a hog, sometimes I get to go to Cadiz to hunt near the strip mines for deer, no luck so far,maybe Pigs will migrate there...... Gas is getting so expensive I have cut down on where and when I go fishing, some exotic game ranches in S. Ohio emailed me with deals of Free Gas to get there and reduced prices, as hunters are not going like before.......
