Here is a few pics of my spring food plot. I planted 1/2 of the plot in millet for turkeys and 1/2 of it in a clover mix. I bought my millet from a local guy and the clover seed is from Deer Creed Seed Company in Wisconsin.

I had a few bare spots, so I went in and top seeded the bare spots with left over clover before a rain. Hopefully it took.
These pics were taken around the middle of June, approx 1 month after the seed was in the ground. I went down and checked the plot about a week ago and the millet is knee high and the clover is about 3". The deer tracks around this plot are everywhere. On this particular spot, they have a clear cut next to them, open bottom hard woods, and a creek. They have food, cover and water within feet of the food plot. I was going to plant the entire plot in clover, but decided to plant millet on the one end since it stays moist. Plus the millet I heard is great for attracting turkeys. Now I just hope the weeds stay to a minimum in my clover.
