When to Plant Fall Clover Plot

When are you guys planting your fall food plots in SE Ohio this year? My buddy was asking when to putting down his clover seed. I sent him a bag of Patriot and bag Durana Clover.

I will be planting mine in mid august!

I will begin getting mine in around the last of July due to 2-a-day practices. I will be planting a brassica, clover, wheat blend on my gasline. My food plot on the south end of my property is taking off well. My millet is over knee high and should be seeding here in the next few weeks (planted May 17). Hopefully the turkeys will begin eating it. My clover is doing very well, most of my clover is 3" tall, also planted May 17. I was told clover is a slow grower, but my patch really took off. I have a few broadleaf weeds in them, but nothing to get excited about. A few weeds isn't going to kill your plot.

I am new to food plots, but everyone that I have talked to told me a brassica and wheat mixture is hard to beat.
