Well,we made it back from rocky fork.I must say I was not impressed. It was the first time being there and me and Zman hit the lake pretty hard.We caught 3 largies and after that all we caught were catfish. It wouldn't have been bad but we were bass fishing and the people that were catfishing were'nt catching anything.I caught one (flathead) about 10 or 12 lbs on a 4" motor oil colored rubber worm and we caught 4 channels on rubber worms.I can't say it was a bad trip because I wasn't at work, but it could've been better.Maybe next time.

I fished Rocky Fork once a few years ago. I had just about the same impression as you.

It isn't a great bass lake. Saugeyes are hit and miss and this Spring should have a class of stocked Saugeye that are prime for eating. They should be a couple of years old now and good fillet size. You need to know the deep structure spots which most newcomers don't know about. If you just come there and beat the bank you will probably come away with a foul impression.

You do realize rocky fork lake is considered by the odnr and avid bass fisherman alike to be one of the best lm bass lakes in the entire state.
All you have to do is go to east shore ramp and watch the weigh in at any tournament.
