Sportsmen Gearing Up to Celebrate Ohio's Outdoor Heritage
(Columbus) - Hundreds of Ohio sportsmen and sportswomen will come together
on August 9 for an annual celebration of strength and unity in defense of
the state's outdoor sports.
The U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance Ohio Committee, an organization dedicated to
protect Ohio's heritage of hunting, fishing and trapping, will host the 7th
Annual Ohio Sportsmen's Rally at the Aladdin Shrine Temple, 3850 Stelzer Rd.
in Columbus. It is a time to celebrate sportsmen's successes, including
this year's campaigns to open Sunday hunting and to protect the Ohio
Division of Wildlife from devastating budget cuts.
The rally will feature a dinner, live and silent auctions, exciting gun
raffles, fun games and more. Single tickets are $50 and reservations for a
table of 10 are $500. All net proceeds benefit the U.S. Sportsmen's
Alliance Ohio Committee, as it continues its work to protect hunting,
fishing and trapping in the state.
The annual Ohio Sportsman Rally is a great event that helps to keep
sportsmen in the field. Contact the U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance at (614)
888-4868 or info@ussportsmen.org <mailto:info@ussportsmen.org> for tickets.
The U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance protects the rights of hunters, anglers and
trappers nationally in the courts, legislatures, at the ballot, in Congress
and through public education programs. For more information about the U.S.
