I will take a photo of this pair of apple trees later on today when I head that way to go fishing, but I don't think I have ever seen apple trees more LOADED with apples! And that is a welcome sight after last year's late frost killed about every apple on every tree where we hunt. It looks like this could be a really great summer/fall for apples, at least in the spots where we hunt. The pair of trees we were most worried about produced an awesome set of trail camera photos 2 years ago of some giant bucks, so I am looking forward to seeing what happens when the fruit starts to fall.

How are your apple trees (or any fruit trees deer like) doing this summer? Anyone have any fruit-bearing persimmons?

My apple trees are loaded. Even some that were ready to be firewood will get a reprieve this year. Best thing I have is a couple of sugar pears that are just loaded. The deer lived under them the last couple of years before the frost. I planted a couple persimmons last year, they're only about 1 1/2 feet tall so I've got a few years to go on them!!
