I think this could be a great game if both teams show up. I do however feel that many TOSU fans I talk with are a little overconfident about this one. LA is one tough place to go get a win. I know what USC lost to Sunday play last year, but they simply restacked the deck with more Sunday players. Both teams have a LB core that makes others drool - I bet either team's second string LB core could start at 100 other D-1 programs. We will see what we are made of in the trenches and it should give us an indication of if the D line play improved enough to compete with the best in CFB.
I think the play of TB can really determine the sucess we have on O. Beanie is great, but we won't win this game running Beanie against their 7-8 man fronts - it just isn't going to work. We will have to get the ball down the field enough to keep them from creeping in on us and slamming the door shut on the run. Saine will probably have a role in keeping them honest, but we need a speed guy to get behind the secondary to keep them honest.
I don't expect to see TP much in this contest, but I'll wager he will have a play or two in this one if he proves he can hold onto the ball in practice.
I can't wait - prime time matchup between the 2 most dominating programs over the last decade!!!!

The "2" most dominating teams in the decade!!!:D
I agree. I do feel if both teams show up to play it will be one heck of a game....we'll begin to see "hype" on this game early in the summer, carrying up to the game itself.
It will be a beauty!!!:D
I also agree it will be tough for OSU to win there, but have gone into hostile environments and have done well. It will come down to the trenches, and how each offense can keep the dominating defenses on the other side of the ball off balance.

If OSU can attack the USC corners, while staying away from Taylor Mays at safety, they should be OK. I actually think OSU wins this game. I'll bet the Defense constantly blitzes the new USC QB. You guys will have to watch out for ROJO returning kicks.
