My buddy and I recently ordered one to put on an ATV to maintain our plots. It is essentially a piece of PVC with a filling port on top and rope wicks or a cloth wipe attached to the bottom. The idea is that you can fill the applicator with a strong dose of RoundUp or other herbicide, set the height so the taller weeds are all that is hit with the herbicide, and nuke 'em while not disturbing the clover/chicory/plot plants. Our should arrive this week, and we'll be trying it out on our chicory plot soon.

We were going to try to build one, but decided we did not want to take chances with it leaking if we screwed something up. Anybody ever use one?

This is not the one we ordered, but it is really similar:

I saw one on Turkey call on the outdoor channel, it had a big tank amd was on the back of tractor, same thing tho.

The concept seems that it should work, let us know how it does.
