Got My 45 And Model 70

my dad picked up my remington rand 1911A1 and winchester pre-64 model 70 from his buddy in WV. When i got home to see them for the first time, i was completely shocked at what I saw. The 45 had 3 boxes shells, ( 2.50 a box), the leather holster marked US and was completely mint, made in 1945. The model 70 was a pre-war 1941 30-06 in mint condition. ORiginal metal buttplate. The deal was too good to pass up and I got them. glad i did, still have two more to get of his. International Harvester M1 garand and Springfield Armory M14 semi-auto bought through military program years ago.
