Actually if you buy a digital camera.

Then read the owners manual.

Then plug the camera into your computer.

Then down load the pictures on to your computer.

Then log on the internet.

Then post the pictures on a web site then you'd be good to go.

TF

Now that I've told you, please pull the pin.....:) :D :D

Man, I didn't see no CELEBRITY... Of course, Ron Ralston was there... I guess he qualifies!

Seriously, you folks missed a great shoot. Rushcreek has an Awesome sporting clays course where we set up the archery shoot. Out of a possible 600 points, the high score turned in was 570 (well, OK, there was one junior who turned in a 600...)

Anyway, we have another shoot coming in three weeks. Columbiana County Archers in Lisbon, OH.

Be there or be, well... somewhere else, I guess...

Thunderflight
07-14-2003, 05:59 PM

Yes the Celebrity showed up. Many people asked for his autograph as he graced Hunter Haven with his presence... :)

He signed many ah autograph and shook many ah hand. He gave pointers on proper traditional archery shooting.

It was truly a religous experience. He departed around 3:30 pm and was graced by the chanting of:

"Thunderflight!!!!, Thunderflight!!!, Thunderflight is a cool dude!!!!"

I had to push off the Hooters girls, because I am faithful to my wife....:D

Thunderflight

Due to the fact that my wife is watching unfortunatly I won't be posting any pictures of my Hooters fan club....;)

I have a routine.

I get up and go to the gym and lift wieghts.

Then I go to work, eat, surf the net, work, surf the net, eat work, surf the net.

I try to go to the gym again around the end of the flight schedule to do some light cardio.

Then I surf the net, watch movies, sleep, eat or what ever.

Right before we pull into port I plan BIG bucks bingo. Last cruise I won $1,000. It came at a good time too. The good lord must have been looking out for us.

Thunderflight

george tinkham
08-04-2003, 08:30 AM
are yuh talkin bout when the anchor drops...i won 4 or 500$ on it for a 20$ chance...

Thunderflight
08-04-2003, 12:25 PM
What are anchor drops?

The ship has a bingo game just before it pulls into port. The tickets cost $10 for five. As the cruise progresses the jackpot get's larger. Last cruise the final game jack pot was close to $10,000!!!!! What's even better is when you win in a tax free zone too...:)

The game is played through out the entire ship via the ships TV. If you get a bingo you call it in or run down to the TV studio.

Hey, if I was to pay for the shafts could someone stain and varnish them for me and then mail them to me on the boat? I was going to order all the stuff from 3rivers, but there is a HAZMAT issue with all the stuff on the boat. I'm going to use cresting wraps instead of dipping them.

Anyone know where you can get florescent orange cresting wraps?

I may have recruited another compound jedi to the dark side.

An old buddy from my California days checked into my unit last week. He walked into my office and saw my red deer skull with a couple dozen broken arrows sticking out of it. Turns out old C.J. is an avid bowhunter too.

Last night I had him over for dinner. Then I took him to the range and handed him my Bear 76'r. I took my grizzly and shot a few dozen times. This was his first time shooting a recurve and shooting instictive and he did REALLY good.

Well today he stopped me in the hall and told me he's thinking of buying a longbow.....

Soon my training will be complete and I too will become a "real elitest".....:)
