Since we had such a rainy spring and the good weather was kinda messed up I'm kinda enjoying this weather, but I am itchin for some fall weather to get here and get out in the woods once again.

I agree! I can't stand any temps over 70 degrees, so come on fall!!! Can't wait to get out and do some scouting for the 2003 archery season.

Neapolis: Based on your name I would imagine you live in Neapolis OH ??? I do some bowhutning with a guy that lives in Neapolis ... maybe he's a neighbor of yours. Hmmmmmm?????? Dan L. is very involved with the Ducks Unlimited chapter in Fulton County. He's a good guy, maybe you already know that.

I like summer I get to go fishing more. Groundhogs are out. The heat we are having I can do with out. I work out in it all week. The heat, So I will go have some fun on the weekends & any time I can. I just love to hunt them groundhogs in the eve. I look forward to the seasons to hunt in the fall. But fall will turn to winter & the livestock will have to be feed. The ice will have to be broke from the ponds & creeks so they can drink.Or it well have to be hauled in if it gets to cold. So I willn't be hunting I will be working. So I like summer. With the longer days I have more time to hunt & fish also. So bring summer on it will be just like the ice of winter it will come to pass. :D

Yea..Summers only good for doing chores around the house. I'm looking forward to taking my trip to the UP then on to Ohio Grouse.

The only bright spot is I'm adding 2 more months formal training on my GSP to a finished dog.

It's not that summer is so hot & stuffie. It's that we have other wonderful seasons to compare it to. It really isn't all that bad.

Ohio's winters are the number five reason I don't plan on moving back after I retire from the Marine Corps.

I was just thinking today how much I miss that first feeling of Fall when the tree's start to change and the air becomes just a lil cooler.

We don't get that down here until December.....

Gotta agree with Oneshot.....We've only had a couple weeks of humidity but after the long winter and nasty Spring I'll take some nice weather for a change! TF is right, spend alittle time in the south during summer if you think our's are hot. It's 80* at 6:00am this time of year:eek: I like the early morning and late evening fishing trips to Piedmont lake this time of year. Fishing on the edge of these stormy fronts tend to put the saugeye on the bite;) ......TF

Neapolis:

This guy Dan that I hunt with lives on Prov - Neap - Swan Rd. is that close to you? If it is, you should try to hook up with him. He is retired and all he does is hunt, shoot sporting clays, reload, etc. I will talk to Dan and see we can hook up some time soon to shoot he bull.

I finally figured out who you were talking about.

Providence Neapolis Swanton Rd, I love it. Even the Post Office abbreviates it.

Yea I live right accross the road from him.

Cool! I was just curious, as I know how active Dan is with the outdoors stuff. Thought maybe you would be able to "hook up" with each other and do some things together since he's in your area and you share the some of the same interest.
