I have a 110 acre lease in Hocking Hills I'm interested in sharing with one individual. (Total 2 hunters on property) Excellent hunting with some trophy potential. Gated access, stream, mature hardwoods & good cover... $500 / 2008 season. I plan to wrap this up within 30 days.

You do realize that’s a $4.50 and acre lease. And it's shared.... Our entire Mead lease is 7.50 and acre and it's 875 acres.
If 2 people are going in on that 110 acre lease; that would be $9.00 an acre.....
Or 1 guy is hunting free and the other is paying the lease... It's still 4.50 an acre that has to be shared with another hunter.

It's cost is more than $4.50 an acre, and there are other details you are not aware of, such as an off lease rv/ camping site.
...also, if you already have a lease why are you running your mouth on my thread?

You come on here and with your first post your trying to sell something..... What did you expect to happen.... Stick around and add something constructive to the site, not using it as your ebay for a lease....
BTW is that off lease RV site on Private land or a local RV Campground?

jackalope, how does the fact that you pay 7.50 per acre give you the right to crap on someones post? Look at it this way, yes it's his first post, but he's giving someone on here an opportunity to go in on a lease that they might not otherwise have. If the money isn't coming out of your pocket how does it concern you?
Were you interested in the lease? If so, then you should have negotiated with VR in private. If not, then you are way out of line.

ive leased out land for more than $9.00 an acre, the more land you lease the cheaper per acre it should be.just like selling land

I would never pay $28 an acre for a lease. For that much, that's a down payment on a piece of your own property. Say you leased 100 acres, thats $2800. That's a lot of money to throw away to a lease that you'll never own.
Personally, I would rather own a 30 acre property than lease 100 acres and never own it. I'm currently saving as much as I can to expand on our 100 acres in SE Ohio. I have looked at several smaller plots of land (20-30 acres) in areas not even close to our property. I thought about it and I decided to wait until something comes available around our property. This way I can at least keep an eye on it. There's a 17 acre property butting up to ours that would make a great addition. I'm waiting for the time it goes up for sale and when it does I'll be making an offer.
