Trade him or force him to sit out? If you're a Bengals fan and even if you're not (I'm a Browns fan first :) ), you should know the history about how the Bengals organization operates (think most recently Corey Dillon).

I was pleasantly surprised at Coach Lewis' statements today. He's right, if CJ is a man of his word, he will sit out the season. Now, I think if Lewis and Palmer had their way, they would trade him now for the best they could get and he should command some interesting offers should the Bengals be so inclined (be surprised if that happens). He is a good receiver who was great and could be again. He just needs to shrink his ego a bit and probably needs the change imo...

I would like to just let him sit ;). It always fun to watch, I like the celebrations that people do I don't see any reason to fine anyone.

Not a bengals fan either, but with all the needs the bengals have they should trade him. CJ sitting on the bench isn't going to benefit anyone or help the Bengals. They should trade him for a boat load of draft picks, so they can shore up that defense, and O-line. Then they should try and sign Anquan Boldin from the Cardinals.

Making Millions and whining...could never understand that......let him sit and waste his carreer.....if he was a Brown player...I would have him sit and let his career go by the wayside as well......

99.9% of the time, I'd agree with you, as I'm a Browns fan as well. But, this time I agree with Chad. He knows Marvin Lewis isn't the man for the job there. They have used him as a scapegoat to an extent. He's always been a showman, and he puts alot of people in the stands. You could tell last year that he tried to tone it down because they wanted him to. That didn't work. I think they should trade him as well. He could command alot of Draft picks. Washington already offered 2 first rounders for him. I'll bet he's traded by this weekend.

I dont agree with making millions and whining about it either, but like I said the Bengals should swallow their pride and trade CJ. For what they could command for him it would be an injustice to the the team to let him sit on the bench and still have your team stink. You might as well give in trade him, and field a more competitive team.

I hear a lot of flack sent Marvin Lewis's way. I think he is a good coach, the problem that bit them in the rear is all those years of drafting players of dubious distinction (can play if their suspended). The guy that really needs to lose his job is the GM.

I say trade CJ to the skins, that gives you three first round picks total, then draft an O-lineman, and 2 D-lineman. Spend the rest of the picks on a CB, and WRs. Try and trade next years first round pick for Anquan Boldin.

I think he just needs to shut his mouth and play ball. I am a long time bengals fan and think he needs to honor that contract "he" signed and quit belly aching. If he doesn't want to play for the bengals then fine, sit at home and watch on Sunday afternoons. Chad and all the other so called "professionals" who act like this need to grow up and realize how fortunate they are do be doing what they love and making millions doing it.

I was a CJ fan defending his actions the last years as all in fun. My Steeler buddy has always said that CJ was a "I,I,I" player and now I have to eat it, because he is obviously proving he doesn't care about the team. As Paul Dougherty said, send him to Miami or Oakland where they don't have a QB and look at his stats then:gaga: I'm a teacher and I coach and to see any professional sports players belly aching with the money they have should be a "League Fine"....:gaga:

I call him T.O. Jr. Good receiver but never thought his little act was really funny. Most of the talking heads for ESPN sure love him. Or loved him,I should say. Even his cousin Keyshawn wanted him to tone it down last year. IMO ,TJ Shoebomber is your franchise receiver anyways. As one reporter put it... "Lose the Flavor Flav routine and play football".

I agree...Winslow did the same thing in Cleveland.......now he's producing and doing well....and now he wants to re-negotiate his contract for more money.... :coco:
