Ontario official upset by proposals to reduce walleye catches

Ohio's charter fishing industry and bass fishing tournaments would be hit hardest by proposals for 2004 to restrict anglers and protect slumping schools of Lake Erie walleye and smallmouth bass. The mandate to cut walleye catches lakewide next year would devastate the Ontario commercial fishing industry, says an official.
