Young Hunter Scores

I took a kid out Saturday on his first ever turkey hunt. It was a great experience for both of us and a nice morning to be out. After several close encounters, this bird finally came into range. It was 18 pounds and had 2 small beards.

I have a feeling this kid is gonna be hooked for life now.:)

Congrats to both of you. Thats one day that will not go unforgoten sometimes helping someone to take a trophy is more rewarding than taking one yourself.

Congrats. I came so close today..I seen about 20..un roosted 3 walking in at 5:30. I creeped up on a beautiful tom with some hens, but never a shot.
