Anybody been fishing down there? We are heading down Tuesday morning for a couple of hours. I think the water should be prime, but was wanting to hear any reports on the fishing and water levels.

Do you mean Devola Dam?

I haven't been there this year, but I went a few times last year. We caught some fish, but I was not entirely impressed given the stories I had been told about it. We do a lot better on the Ohio River around the bigger dams.

Whatever you want to call it I guess....fishing is spotty later in the year. Fishing is best in early spring, big dams produce all year. At Devols you have a small window to catch fish usually mid April for about a week, but when they are in there you will catch nothing but hawgs.
