It was a heck of a game. 2-2 now, just need to steal one in Boston, and protect home court.

Yeah...I thought Mom was going to rip that Boston player a new one...:D

Good game, both teams played to win it.....fun to watch.

we need to take one away...and come home to finish it.....will it be Deja vu' like last year against detroit where we go down 0-2 and come back and win it????:D

I am glad to have a winning franchise in ohio. Or at least a competitive one.

I am also glad to see Lebron not turn out like he could have. He is never in trouble, always works hard. Not your typical stat gathering ath.

Your putting the cart before the horse. They still gotta take care of Boston. I would like to see more out of Gibson, Wallace and Zerbiak or we'll never make it to the championship.

No......I'm not...I said we need to Take one "away" game from Boston before we can win it...JUST like we did LAST YEAR in the series with Detroit!!!!

They have 2 home games and we have 1...we take one of their "away" games and we win at home....were there!!!

Re-Read it there CG!

We came from behind 0-2 agaisnt Detroit to win the series and go on to meet the spurs!!!:coolgleamA:

That's the million dollar question right now, can the Cavs take one in Boston and then win again at home. I think this team may just be peaking after being thrown together after the season started. Lebron can carry them only so far, somebody has to step up bigtime each game for them to win it all.

Then and only then do they get the Pistons again (assuming the Pistons finish off their series).

I'm a Cleveland sports fan second to none. I hope the cavs pull out this series but honestly they make me yawn. When does mini camp in Berea start?;)

Francis
05-15-2008, 10:41 PM
atleast boston has been bad on the road

Deehntr56
05-16-2008, 01:21 PM
Yes, that helps....they haven't won a game yet on the road in the playoffs.

I have a feeling Boston closes it out tonight. They were the best road team in the NBA during the season, which is why their 0-for in the playoffs is so surprising. No Booby Gibson tonight, so Lebron needs a lot of help. Z, Wally, West, or Pavlovic needs to really step up and provide a consistent #2 scorer tonight. It won't matter if Lebron goes for 40 if the rest of the team plays poorly.

Hd they hit their stinkin' free throws in Game 5, they would be up 3-2 right now. It is amazing how fundamentals come back and kill you. That is why the Spurs and Pistons have been so good for so long. Solid fundamental basketball.

I agree there Cream....if you do the basics right....all else usually falls into place.

I look at it 2 ways...they should of stole game#1...neither team played well, and the Cavs should of/could of taken that one.

They also should of taken game 5. When you jump on Boston and get 14 up on them late in the 1st half...on their court...if you want it bad enough, they should of come out in the 3rd quarter and finished it....but they didn't so now we have what we have.

Booby being out tonight will hurt....they need West, Z, Zan and every player to raise it up a notch if they are to stay in it!!!!

Good Luck Cavs!!!!

Francis

Wow, talk about a way to end the first half

Deehntr56
05-16-2008, 09:24 PM
  A 17-2 run to finish the 1st half and West hitting that 3 pointer at the buzzer.....I like it!!!:woohoo1:

Francis

What do you know, the cavs gave up a nice lead

Deehntr56
05-16-2008, 10:48 PM
74-69 Cavs.....14 seconds left...will they win it???

Deehntr56
05-16-2008, 10:52 PM
WE HAVE A GAME #7!!!!!!:woohoo1::woohoo1::woohoo1:

Francis
05-16-2008, 10:52 PM

OK, I was wrong!

Anything can happen in Game 7, especially with Lebron on the floor.

Not from me...watched him play since early High School.....even went to several of his high school games....saw him as a freshman too.

There are 3 players that can take it this year....LeBron is one of them.

They finish strong in the playoffs...it's his!
