What's the bow fishing going to be like at the end of April?
Will the carp be spawning around that time and if so can anyone recommend some places accessable from the shore to go in the Columbus / Newark area?

If you promise not to be a but head you can probably go with bowmiller and I. It will somewhat good but you willies may get cold from time to time depending on how deep the water is. :D May is generally better..

wouldn't that just be a riot. :yikes: Me, Jeff, Milo, and the infamous Thunderflight whackin' feesh. :D heck, we might even get Cartman, Hoot or that boy with the broken hoof to come along.
one of the best days of bowfishing I've ever had was the last weekend of April a few years back. weather and water conditions were totally perfect. a rare combination that time of year. no doubt that if it ever quits raining up here and the water levels come down to normal, Milo and I will put you in a target rich environment. you got a good bowfishing rig, TF?

Let me know I can take you out. I have my boat set up for night bowfishing. You won't even have to get wet...LOL But i do know lots of places to go for bank shooters.

Azzy's been talking to me again and now your inviting me to come along bowfishing with bowmiller. This isn't a set up is it? You all aren't planning on pushing me overboard with a concrete block around my neck would ya....;) I'm a lousy swimmer. I promise to be nice. I'll help pay for gas too!!! ;)

man, I hope we can work this out and that the conditions are good. we'll have more fun than people should be allowed.
I LOVE bow fishing! Haven't been out last several years. Health reason, no boat, and no one likes me enough to take me along. I fraid to go by myself, being so short and all. I fall in a deep hole I'm a goner!

there is only one good deep hole along the way that I could actually hold you under long enough to do you any good so I was out of options and thought I would be nice. :bouncy::eek: I have heard banjos though...:coolgleamA: Plus bowmiller likes you and that speaks volumes with me. Bring your camelback cause were gonna cover some ground

I will keep an eye out on water and targets bowmiller to see if we can make it happen. If not I will see if I can line up the boat option too.

That's not a bad ideal either, but I'll have to see how busy I am with my overseas move. I don't check out of my command until the end of June so we might be able to do something over a weekend. My family will probably already be in Ohio so I'll should be able to swing it.
We did some bowfishing for Florida Ray's back in 2006. It was a lot of fun with plenty of shooting opurtunities.

I might not be coming up for turkey season now. If I don't I'll be up at the end of May or begining of June for sure.
Will the bowfishing be any good around then?
Hoot the OBA carpderby "died" from lack of participaton, if you can believe that. Claylick has tried to keep it alive as a club event and yes they went ALL the way to lake Erie. I never went as me and smoe lickers are not on good speakinf terms. if you can belive that also!
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I is carp hunting!

This one should work out fine. I may not have alot of time, but I'll be able to make it out for at least one day/night of bowfishing.
